Abbey's Cottage is a delightful space that has been fully renovated and now offers a Queen Bed room, with lovely open fire place. The room has an ensuite and facilities for tea/coffee and continental breakfast. Kangaroos may visit too!
Abbey's Cottage was once upon a time the maids quarters and kitchen for the main large house at our property. This has been fully renovated and now offers a queen sized four poster bed room, your own private ensuite, open fire place.
You will have the Cottage to yourself. Please note when renting out Abbey's Cottage you do not have access to the main house, and thus you don't have access to the kitchen.
If you would like additional features and requirements, please consider looking at the main house, listed as Old Malcolms Inn.
Abbey's Cottage is located on OXFORD St, behind Old Malcolms Inn. When driving along the highway, turn at the telephone box and drive along to Oxford St, we're just on the corner, so you can't miss us.
Interaction with guests
You can certainly speak with us or call us for assistance. Sometimes we will be at the house, but we are never far away.
Other things to note
We will supply you with a light breakfast to get your day started nicely, however there are no cooking facilities within the Cottage.
There is a fridge and kettle for you to use.
Abbey's Cottage is a room and ensuite in our gardens.
Please note this is a non-smoking home. We are unable to accommodate pets at this property as the fencing is not adequate to keep them in.
In Winter you are able to have an open fire in your bedroom, however you can also choose just to use the heating from the split system.
We will provide you with tea/coffee and basics for you to make a breakfast for yourself in your room. Please leave your used items all neatly behind.
This is a country property and we are on tank water, it's a dry area, we really appreciate you being conscious of saving water during your stay.
You will be staying in my home, my husband and I purchased this as a derelict property and spent 3 years bringing it back to life. We lived in a caravan on site while we did this. It certainly was a labour of love, but very fun too.
I like gardening, and cooking and meeting new people. I hope you enjoy a lovely weekend in our home.
