Location

Latchley, Cornwall, United Kingdom

The Apple Loft is situated on the edge of Latchley, a quiet pretty little historic village, with lovely neighbours and a countryside setting. The Tamar Valley is designated an Area of Outstanding Beauty. Historically, the valley has many signs of its copper mining of the 1800's including pumping houses, shafts, and chimneys. The valley is part of the World Heritage Site for Mining. You can walk from Latchley through Duchy of Cornwall woodlands up river along the Tamar to Luckett and Horsebridge. Or down river to Gunnislake and beyond.

Granny, Mum, wife, retired farmer... Things I love - family, our youngest daughter and granddaughter living near by, having lots of visitors, our garden and growing veggies, eating lunch outside in the summer, family adventures to the beach, bbqs and camping by the river, our neighbours and friends. Our farm was an award winning Texel sheep farm and we have offered the Apple Loft accommodation for many years. Some of the delights of hosting has been our returning guests and their families who have then become special friends.
