Kirro sits on part of a 2600 acre grazing property in the beautiful Kerry Valley at Darlington. Enjoy breathtaking views to the world renowned O'Reilly Plateau and surrounding areas, relax and unwind in a fully renovated "Queenslander" with mod cons.

Bonus - you can bring your horses and dogs too!

The space
Enjoy the picturesque drive into Kerry valley past the beautiful farming community, passed the dairy farm and Darlington Park camping grounds, about 25 minutes from Beaudesert.

Whether you’re enjoying a romantic getaway, a family adventure or just trying to escape the hustle and bustle, Kirro offers a great location a little old school charm and a modern twist.

Light the BBQ and the fire pit and watch the sunset on the back deck whilst you cook, then spend the rest of evening listening to the wildlife and stargazing.

If you’re up for a challenge take the 4wd track (Duck Creek Road) to O’Reilly’s, or sit on the balcony and watch the world go by.

About the facilities:
There are 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom offers a queen size bed and an en-suite with reverse cycle air conditioning, the second room has a bunk bed (double on the bottom, single on the top) with a ceiling fan, and the third room has a queen bed also with reverse cycle air conditioning. There is also a single roll-out bed, and cot which can be used in the lounge or main bedroom.

The bathroom and en-suite have hotel style facilities with soap, shampoo and conditioner.

The dining room has a large table with enough room to seat 8 people and the kitchen has an oven, stove, microwave and cutlery and crockery for 8 people, there is also a large sink and dishwasher for cleaning up.

The lounge room has a warm wood fire, reverse cycle air conditioning, 42 inch TV, DVD/Blu-ray player, sound bar, a number or DVDs and books are available in the library, and offers seating for 7 with a 3 seater lounge, four armchairs and soft thick rugs for the kids.

We welcome you to bring your four legged friends too! Both dogs and horses are welcome! You are able to ride anywhere throughout our 2600 acre beef cattle property, we have fully fenced yards with water, just byo feed.

Guest access
You have access to the entire house and grounds in the main yard, there is a small herb garden near the back veranda, help yourself! There is a stream to fish or have a dip just down the road near the bridge. There are some sheds nearby - there is nothing inside them, so for your own safety (it is the bush after all)... please stay out of those!

Neighbourhood highlights

During weekend daytime hours, there is a mobile coffee van 5 minutes up the road near the camp grounds and a large sports oval, often on weekends there is games of cricket for the kids and kids at heart. Around 4pm you can also feed the local birds.
