The flat is modern and was clean on arrival. It is in a safe and quiet estate within walking distance of Banbury canal which is lovely. Shops are handy too. Good communication and very organised. Kitchen well equipped and good wi fi. Although car park is allocated it is in front of a garage to which access is required. Beds are a bit springy. As we had a National Trust card we visited loads of properties within an hour of Banbury and enjoyed the central location. We called it home for a month. Being on first floor, we felt free to leave our windows open 24/7 which was necessary to air the flat. Great water pressure - lovely showers!
This property is only suitable for people that smoke or do not mind that it has been heavily smoked in. The property is very run-down and needs to be re-painted and re-carpeted and thoroughly deep cleaned. The pictures are quite outdated and not true to the property. For example there are no legs on the sofas - they sit on the floor and make sitting on them very uncomfortable. I only stayed for one evening and had to depart as the dirt/stench was unbearable. As you can imagine this was not a decision made lightly (bank holiday weekend + additional costs + stress), but was the only option. The property would be fine once updated.
