Set in the stunning Tweed Valley, only 50 minutes from the Gold Coast International Airport. We are located within the Mount Warning caldera on 25 acres, with a natural waterfall, swimming hole, a herd of alpacas and an abundance of wildlife.
Relax in our self contained, 1 bedroom cabin. The bedroom has a double bed and 1 set of single bunks with all linen provided. The living area has TV, kitchen facilities and limited wifi available (it's slow and not much data available). There is a bathroom and an outdoor covered area with BBQ and outdoor table and seating. Ideal for families.
Other things to note
Heaps to do... bush walk in the Border Ranges, climb Mount Warning, swim and explore for crystals in the creek, see the glow worms in the cave behind the waterfall at night, (it's about 100 metres from the cottage and the swimming hole is deep), visit Crams Farm reservoir, Byron Bay, Nimbin, Tweed Coast and of course join in all our farm activities.
Smoking outside only, no jumping from the top of the waterfall and respect our quiet environment.
I live here with my husband David and all our animals. We come from Melbourne and still can't quite believe we live in such a beautiful, peaceful place. We love to share our space. We enjoy gardening and growing our own food and also regenerating the land around the creek banks. The learning curve about country living has been steep (we were city dwellers) and with the help of our little community are feeling like old hands now.
