Mrs. Hemley, located in the centre of Halls Gap at the heart of the magnificent Grampians National Park, is designed with couples in mind. It's the perfect place to escape, relax, and do nothing at all, or to get out into nature and do it all. You can hike the mountains, abseil, rock climb, visit local galleries, and explore award-winning wineries. Fall in love with nature, each other, and life.

The space
Light and bright featuring natural light, timbers and stone, we offer stylish + relaxed accommodation. Walking distance from local shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and of course bush walks and hikes.

Set up for couples, envelope yourself in the crisp, crushed linen sheets as you nod off to sleep in a king-sized bed.

The ensuite will wow you with its large bath and skylight shower. It has everything you need, including beautiful towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer. Guests always comment on the impressive shower!

Prepare a cozy night in on the comfiest sofa with wine, cheese, and a game or Netflix. The simple kitchen features a dining table and modern appliances, including an oven, microwave, cooktop, kettle, toaster, and pod machine. A small selection of teas, coffee, milk, and sweet treats is also provided.

After a day out, enjoy sitting in the native garden and watching the sun go down over the mountains. Listen to the birds as they chatter away, who knows, you may even be visited by some local wildlife. Just a word of warning, the birds can be quite loud at times!

Although we love our children and pets, Mrs. Hemley is not suitable for either due to its design and features. We are an inclusive stay and welcome all guests from any background and community.

Set in the heart of the Grampians National Park, you will never run out of things to do. Hiking, climbing abseiling, mini golf, flying, paddling, fishing, the list goes on. From the house you will be walking distance from eateries, bars, shop & many bush walks.

The Grampians Peaks Trail is a 164km world renown trail reaching from Mt Zero in the north to Dunkeld in the south. Walk the entire trail over 13 days or do sections over several days. Either way, Mrs Hemley is a great place to base yourself.

But there is so much more close by. Other than the incredible walks and lookouts, the Grampians region produces some of Australia's finest wines. Why not take a tour of the local Cellar doors, either self guided or have a guide take you?

Are you into Arts? There is a large range of artists in the Grampians ready to showcase their talents.

The Halls Gap Zoo, just 7km away is Victoria’s largest regional zoo, featuring over 160 species of native & exotic mammals, reptiles and birds.

Of course you may want to do all of these things or just cuddle up on the comfy couch with a good book and relax. it's your day

Growing up in the area, I don't think I fully appreciated the stunning beauty and magnificence I had on my own doorstep until after spending several years travelling abroad and around Australia. Growing up within the wine industry - Best's Wines at Great Western, I am passionate about the local (and most others) wine industry and our magnificent produce.
