Really loved Tim and Lucy's cottage, perfect for 2 people, short walk to a couple of good local dinner venues. Saxmundham is a great location for exploring the Suffolk coast - Aldeburgh, Southwold and Orford were highlights and only a short drive through lovely countryside. Tim and Lucy were very helpful and friendly at every stage. Highly recommended.

If you are single or a couple looking for peace and tranquility in a cosy space then the cottage is for you. A car is essential to explore the area as buses are few and far between, but you are a stone's throw away from the railway station, which makes lovely places such as Woodbridge accessible. I found the cottage very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything one needed and more. The cottage is in the town in a residential road, so not in the country, but I think this is clear from the details. Tim and Lucy both gave me a warm welcome.

Tim and Lucy greeted us and left a very useful welcome pack. They are available should you ever need them, and otherwise leave you in peace to enjoy your stay as you please. The cottage has everything you could need for a short break and is central to what the town has to offer. Saxmundham is convenient for the many attractions of the local area - note that a car is very useful as there is little of interest in the town itself. The food at the Kings Arms in nearby Yoxford is excellent (booking recommended) as is a day out in Norwich.
