Originally part of an old Olinda plant nursery, the property is set in a stunning European-style garden filled with established maples, magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias. Just a few hundred metres to Olinda village and the Dandenong Ranges Botanical Gardens, The Maples is perfectly located for leaving your car keys behind and exploring the area on foot.
After a day out exploring the quirky shops and trendy cafes or getting close to nature discovering the numerous bushwalking tracks in the nearby National Park, come back to enjoy the comforts of your luxurious, romantic getaway.
Curl up with a good book and a glass of wine on the comfy couch by the crackling wood fire, or watch your favourite movies on the large screen smart T.V.
Soak in the high back bath in your modern bathroom featuring under floor heating and stone vanities, then step into a snug, fluffy bathrobe.

The Maples - Gatehouse was designed to be fully wheelchair accessible. Please advise at time of booking if you require this facility.
The Maples- Loft is the upstairs apartment on a different listing on Airbnb. It is possible to book both apartments - perfect for two couples, yet completely private.
Please advise of special dietary needs within 48 hours of your stay and we'll endeavour to accommodate you.

Bushfires and Emergencies
Bushfires are a very real threat in the hills. As such we will be closed in the rare event of a Code Red Fire Danger Day being declared for our region. In this case the following policy applies:
- Guests due to check in on the Code Red rated day will be contacted by phone and advised that The Maples will not be available. A voucher for the value of the coming stay will be issued.
- Guests currently staying will be given the option to vacate the property prior to 5 pm. Guests who have been advised not to check in or who vacate early will be issued with a voucher of value equal to the unused night/s of their stay.
Power failures can occur due to fallen trees and branches over power lines. If this is the case during your stay, we will endeavour to supply emergency power for lighting and hot water whilst the issue is being resolved.
If we are unable to operate due to circumstances beyond our control, guests will be issued with a voucher for a future stay to value equal of the unused night/s of your staying
