Weekly lodging in a restored 1888 grand victorian treasure in downtown Santa Cruz. The perfect location for walking, dining, shopping, and people-watching. (URL HIDDEN) gives us a rating of "Walker's Paradise" with 100 out of 100 points for walkability. This room comes with a private bathroom that has a claw foot tub. There is a common shower across the hall.

CHECK IN INFORMATION: Check ins at the Hinds House are between 3pm and 9pm by appointment 7 days a week. If you are arriving on a late flight and can't make the 9pm check in please plan on starting your stay the following day.

Don't be confined to your room. The Hinds House has 2,000 sq. ft. of common rooms on the ground floor for your use including a front parlor, back parlor, dinning room and huge kitchen. Guests have full access to the kitchen that is equipped with pots pans, and everything you need to cook as you do at home. Laundry, cable TV, and Wifi are all included and free. Fully furnished and waiting for your arrival.

Room 2 has a natural latex queen bed (the most comfortable beds in the world) cable TV/DVD, clock radio, iron, ironing board, air conditioning, desk, skylight, and all towels and linens.

We are in a neighborhood in the historic district. The most beautiful street full of Victorian houses is one block away. City hall is right across the street. A bus stop to the University is one block away. The heart of downtown is 3 blocks away. 30 restaurants and cafes are within 6 blocks of us. We are the only lodging in the central downtown core of the city. No car needed. Restaurants, cafes, pharmacy and grocery stores all within walking distance.
