Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Escape to the country to this gorgeous romantic handmade Circus Wagon located 8 mins from vibrant Mullumbimby. The perfect base to explore Byronshire although you might be tempted to just stay put- Brunswick Heads, South Golden & stunning Mt. Jerusalem NP just 15 mins away.
Relax in Nature with all the comforts of home, cook up a feast, read a book on the big deck, spot the wildlife & enjoy rural bliss in your private paddock. A perfect couples escape to slow down and make unforgettable memories

The space
All our guests say the wagon is far bigger than they expected and it’s on its way to earning it’s name of being ‘the biggest little tiny home in Australia’

If it’s nature you crave then you’ll feel at home looking at Mount Bugeram, the surrounding loblolly pines and watching the horses and friendly cows in the neighbouring paddocks chew their way through the day.

The wagon has been our labour of love to build, we wanted really high Ceilings ( no ducking! ) character and an open Living space with enough room to walk really easily around everything, so no tight corners here!

Chefs will appreciate the generous kitchen and quality cookware and we know you’ll fall in love with the forest green bathroom with stunning green handmade Japanese tiles, solid brass tap-ware and sensational monsoon rain shower. A long soak in the large bathtub at the end of the day will have you totally relaxed and reenergised.

If you need to stay connected we have Wifi and a huge retro Marshall speaker for pumping out your tunes!

There are lots of windows and the sun streams in all day- Fling the Barn doors open and soak in the rural views or shut them up in the evening and get cozy.

Spend the evenings watching the sunset by the fire and cook up a storm on our artisan made cooking plate and grill with a glass of wine and good conversation- relax knowing you have the convenience of all modern amenities and a dishwasher inside to make the end of your evening super easy!

Expect little touches that will make you feel looked after- magazines and books, fluffy towels and European linen for the most restful nights sleep in your dreamy ‘Queen size Koala’ bed.

This is a break which is brimming with nature but so relaxing with everything you would expect to find in a great hotel room all in a stones throw of thriving Mullumbimby and the local beaches. The perfect combination!

Guest access
You'll have the Wagon all to yourself and no one will come into the paddock whilst you are staying, it is a long way from our Home and private.

Other things to note
The Wagon is fully insulated and is great at keeping heat ‘in’during winter and heat ‘out’ in summer. For chillier nights we have provided electric blankets that can be independently operated on each side of the queen bed. There is also a heater for when it feels chilly outside and really heats the space up so you will feel snug.
Extra blankets and an incredible faux fur large throw all add in for extra coziness! We have a great mounted Atlas fan but we don’t have air conditioning.

The Wagon is situated next to a larger Paddock which will sometimes have horses in so please always shut a gate if you go through it and it is shut. Occasionally we may need to cut grass especially if we have limited options with the weather but we always try and do this when the Wagon is vacant or our guests are out.
The driveway to the wagon is not sealed and through a paddock. If the weather has been wet you may not be able to drive right next to the wagon and park.

We are a family of 4 and live on the property. We have 22 acres and so there is plenty of space between our home and the wagon and an 8 acre paddock in between though occasionally you may hear the odd noise or hear our children playing in the distance.

We are under a Kilometre away from the "Main Arm" shop where you can buy a Pizza on a Friday night and a bottle of wine at the Bottle-shop or have breakfast and coffee in the morning. There is a good stock of some artisan foods as well as pantry basics, Bread, Milk, eggs etc.

Where I went to school: In the Uk
My husband and our two children moved from the UK 7 years ago and stumbled upon this beautiful little town, mullumbimby. We fell in love and bought an old dairy cottage and are renovating it little by little. we recently finished our circus wagon in January 2023 and we couldn't be happier to share it with guests and let them experience this delightful place we call home. We had a holiday letting business in the uk and loved having people staying on the property in the cabins and wagons we created, and decided once we had renovated to do it once more and let out our fabulous home. We are passionate foodies and travellers and love exploring, and making bold life decisions!!! We look forward to meeting you and helping show you some of the hidden gems of the area!
