The space
Nestled at the base of Mugul Mountain, one hour’s drive south of Gladstone in Queensland, Australia our 300 acre property offers a unique experience.
Mugul Mountain is a sacred Indigenous site and a national park.
Stay overnight in the nearly completed homestead, a Balinese inspired pole home, or you can camp on the property or bring your caravan. Basic unpowered sites are available. Contact us for rates. Horses and their owners are welcome.
One day workshops on bush tucker and bush medicine can be arranged. Workshops offer the participants the chance to learn about the native flora – what has been used by the Indigenous people of this region, the Goreng Goreng, for medicinal purposes and food. Workshops include a bush tucker lunch cooked in traditional style.

Guest access
Guests will be able to stay in one of our two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. Or by special arrangement guests can stay in the luxury of the parent's quarters - king size bed with magnificent bathroom and reading nook. Price on application.
Large verandahs surround most of the house. Relax with the cool breezes that arrive each afternoon and check out the mountain.
We have walking tracks for the adventurous.
