The space
The Horned Cow is a luxury short‑term rental crafted by a leading Sydney designer and completed in Jan‑23.
The entire house and grounds are exclusively yours. We don't lock rooms or cupboards. Maximum 10 guests, plus infants in travel cots (not supplied).
The property provides 5 large bedrooms (2 King, 3 Queen), each carpeted with floor‑to‑ceiling operable windows with fly screens, built‑in wardrobes, hangers, mirrors and 4 pillows (2 soft, 2 firm). Bedding, professionally laundered linen, towels, makeup cloths, and extra blankets are provided. The luxury mattresses are Sleeping Duck medium, and very comfortable.
There are 2 bathrooms both with underfloor heating, plus a separate laundry with washer and dryer. Families are welcome; a high chair is provided, with go-carts and bikes (please use responsibly). Board games and books provide for some pleasant downtime.
The open‑plan living room features a luxe Jardan lounge and two arm chairs, slow‑combustion fireplace, and 65” TV with Netflix. The dining area seats 10, and the fully equipped kitchen includes a large fridge, dual‑zone wine fridge, extensive cookware, crockery, and a Nespresso machine with pods (20 pods provided).
All bedrooms and living spaces have central ducted air‑conditioning, individually controlled. Instant electric hot water ensures continuous supply.
Set on 2.5 acres, the property offers ample parking, double‑glazing, and peaceful surrounds. There are 3 wineries within 2 minutes’ drive, with many more across Orange no more than 20min drive from the property. Even better book a private wine tour from the house.
Wifi is available throughout the house and grounds, along with a portable Bluetooth speaker and Sonos sound bar.
While the front entry isn’t wheelchair accessible, the interior is step‑free throughout. Both bathrooms offer 700mm walk‑in shower access with no doors.
Guest access
The house is exclusively a professional short term rental. You will have the place to yourself - we don't live at the property and your privacy is our priority to enjoy the house and 2.5 acers.
Unlike many bookings, this house and its private grounds are exclusively yours to enjoy for your stay at The Horned Cow. You will have unrestricted access to the entire property, including wildlife and cows from the neighbouring property that sometimes come direct to the boundary fence. Many rabbits and birds roam freely and are peaceful to observe.
Other things to note
The exterior of the house is fitted with Google Nest security cameras and an alarm, both of which are TURNED OFF during your stay.
The cameras are only there for security outside of occupancy times.
