Enjoy the simplicity of camping with the comforts of home in this traditional style, spacious Sioux Tipi with hinterland views. A unique glamping experience featuring wooden floors, kitchen & running water, comfy queen bed & a hot shower in the scenic outdoor bathroom. Close to beaches, Byron Bay & festivals.

Escape to nature, where you can enjoy the outdoors whilst being close to town and the ocean. Please see the description on how we protect our guests during this pandemic.

The space
The 24ft Sioux Tipi is spacious, breezy & has everything you'll need for a unique glamping experience. Situated on a 5 acre North East facing property just a few minutes drive to the beaches & township of Brunswick Heads and 15 minutes to Byron Bay.

We have recently erected a new tipi complete with new timber floors & renovated interior, linen sheets and fluffy towels. Enjoy the simplicity of camping with the comforts of home.

The space has rustic timber flooring, a comfy queen size latex mattress, a double gas cooker, kitchen utensils, running water, a freestanding cast iron chiminea (wood heater fireplace), and solar powered lights. Fly screens cover all doors, windows & openings.

The outdoor composting toilet & hot shower are for your private use. There's an outdoor fire pit and rugs are supplied so you can lay under the stars! Firewood & Ice for the esky are BYO (Bring Your Own).

Please check the map for exact location, we are located just off the Pacific Hwy.

*** COVID-19 PROCEDURES***
Please know that we have adapted to the current situation to protect ourselves and our guests at the tipi. We have thorough precautions in place and are practicing physical distancing. We have adhered to an increased hygiene standard and cleaning regime following the latest guidance including hand-washing hygiene and cleaning product specifications. We are wiping all surfaces with an alcohol based disinfectant and all linen is laundered at a very high temperature. All to ensure you have a healthy, safe and enjoyable stay.

A trip away in nature may be just what you need during this time. The tipi is completely and privately yours for the duration of your stay. You will have no contact with another, should that be your decision. We are lucky to have many bush walking tracks, waterfalls, waterholes, beaches and other natural attractions close by so you can still enjoy the sunshine and outdoors without having to encounter many people. We are in a special part of the world and feel happy to be able to share our slice of paradise with you, our guests.

If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Guest access
The tipi, outdoor bathroom, fire pit & grassed area surrounding.

Other things to note
Hairdryers and other appliances can not be used. As the tipi runs on solar, only mobile phones can be charged. Dependent on weather/wind direction, there may occasionally be some noise from local roads. We also supply an esky and suggest bringing a bag of ice if you're bringing food items or drinks.

During the summer months, if there's a breeze the tipi can be pleasant all day, however on hot, still days it can get warm inside during the middle of the day. It stays cool until about midday - the sun hits it around 11am - and it cools down again in the afternoons. Mornings and evenings are cool and enjoyable. During the cooler months the tipi is warm and cosy and can be completely sealed from wind and rain etc. You can cosy up by the indoor chiminea and we provide wool blankets & hot water bottles.
