Very cute space right by Woodward close to everything downtown. It was perfect for our overnight stay!

Check in instructions were very clear. Convenient place to stay during an interview at Wayne State. Connie was an awesome host, the place was squeaky clean with good amenities!

We were just in town for the night and are so happy we decided to stay at Connie's place. It's in a great location near the museums and Wayne State and a straight shot down Woodward for downtown activities. The place is bigger than you would expect from the pictures and full of little touches that celebrate the uniqueness of Detroit, from the Faygo in the fridge to the record collection full of Detroit classics. There are folders and folders of things to see and do and places to eat around town. I'd highly recommend this place, especially for someone looking to experience the city for the first time!

We did not end up checking into the place at all, so I cannot write a view about the place itself. But Connie was great and very responsive and understanding!

Hi Connie, thanks for making us feel welcome at your place! It is so professionally done with impeccable good taste, the location is fantastic (a straight shot 8-min drive from Downtown when we went out on Sat night), safe, and so much attention to detail in presentation and logistics. We couldn't have asked for a better first AirBnB experience. Thanks again!!

Loves architecture and old stuff. Excited about historic re-purposing and house rehab. Currently working on restoring a 1920s Bank to it's former beauty so it can serve a meaningful role in the community! Estate sale enthusiast and mother of three amazing (adult) children :)

I like interesting/quirky objects, the apartments reflect this--I hope you'll enjoy the eclectic mix of furniture and knick-knacks. I'd love to point you in the right direction whether you want to grab a bite to eat, see some live music, grab a drink, or do something out of the ordinary-- just ask!

**Please note, my daughter & I managed the airbnb together before, you'll see her name (Alissa) if you go far enough back in reviews, on occasion she still helps out & often uses this to book when she travels for work:)
