Our pioneer cottage is nestled in the Dandenong Ranges. Indulge in a home-cooked morning or afternoon tea by an open fire or in the garden; enjoy a private wing with two beautifully restored bedrooms, dining room and sitting room. A short drive to key tourist destinations: Puffing Billy, wineries, tourist villages, cafes and craft shops.

The space

Guests have use of a very roomy "wing" of this rambling cottage. A dining room and living room in addition to two beautifully decorated bedrooms are yours to enjoy.

The dining room: Beautiful high ceilinged room with a large open fireplace, dining table and upright piano.

Living room: Sunny and light-filled comfortable room with books, board-games, sofa and coffee table. Comfortable daybed allows for a 5th guest. T.V., bar fridge stocked with essentials, microwave, coffee machine and tea making facilities. Free Wi Fi available.

Out in the garden, guests can make use of a Provincial style garden table with plenty of seating; a secret, vine-draped arbour to sit in and read a book or enjoy a quiet cup of tea; and a barbecue.
Whether it's unwinding from a day of sight-seeing and walks through the forest or just relaxing over a cup of tea, the rooms will welcome you and you'll feel like you're in your own country cottage.

Rob and Libby could not have made us feel more at home, they are really warm hearted people and keep a lovely home in scenic surrounds. I only wish we'd have stayed longer.

An absolutely magical stay - the kind of place you wouldn’t be surprised to find fairies playing in the garden. Beautiful hosts!

Rob and Libby were there to welcome us with some homemade cookies after our long drive arriving just on dark. A beautiful cottage in a quite bush setting with lots of birds. The house had central heating and extra heating in each room. The beds were very comfortable. My husband and I were with 2 friends and we did need to share our ensuite bathroom with them. We had a microwave, jug and toaster and were provided with cereals, jams, tea and coffee, juices and some lovely sourdough bread. They even washed up for us! Rob also cooked us some fresh eggs from a local farm. Rob and Libby went out of their way to make us all feel comfortable and were available to attend to our needs. There information book was very helpful to connect to their Wi Fi and look up local restaurants and sights.

We are a married couple who enjoy our close community, the natural beauty and walks that surround us, as well as books and music. We are both involved in the creative arts. We have travelled quite widely. We genuinely enjoy having visitors and take pleasure in not only making people feel at home, but also helping people to make the most of their time in our spectacular Dandenong Ranges.
