Beautifully converted 18th Century barn in quiet village bordering The Cotswolds. Many original features which blends well with its classic interior. Entrance to the barn is via a private courtyard with off street parking. Ideally situated.

The space
The First/Ground Floor level comprises of the kitchen, dining room, cloakroom and coat cupboard. New contemporary kitchen with all mod cons and fully equipped. Kitchen area also has a snug, wall mounted TV with DVD/Bluray player and a breakfast bar. Toddler table and chairs for the little ones and wooden highchair available on request. Spacious split-level semi open plan ground floor, ensures maximum light through floor to ceiling traditional barn entrance windows as well as french doors leading from the kitchen to the al fresco patio area and garden, fully enclosed by a Cotswold stone wall with entrance gate. The Second Floor comprises of a living space, one single bedroom, one kingsize bedroom and family bathroom. This level is generously set out with a split level living area where you can either relax and spread out to watch TV/DVDs (a generous selection of DVDs are provided for your convenience) or play family games in the mezzanine area. New soft furnishings and bathrooms with quality fittings throughout. Fluffy towels provided with heated towel rail within easy reach of the bath and shower. Underfloor heating in the family bathroom is so comforting. The Third Floor (attic space) is accessed via a spiral staircase and opens into a kingsize bedroom and en suite shower room. The kingsize bed can also be configured to two single beds if required.
Fresh flowers, home baked bread, plus a few extra goodies will be provided on your arrival, together with honey from our very own 'black bees' - if they have foraged enough to make any that is!

Guest access
Entrance to the barn is via a private courtyard which includes your own designated parking space. Further parking is permitted to the rear of the barn, street side. Our guests have access to the whole property apart from the Study.

Other things to note
Top (third) floor is accessible via a spiral staircase to one king size bed (can configure into two singles) and en suite shower room. The steps are wooden and uncarpeted. Please be careful when you climb these stairs, either bare feet or wearing shoes is recommended to avoid potential slipping.

Our beautiful contemporary mezzanine second floor living/TV room has a curved glass balcony, overlooking dining room below, the height of which has passed building regulations and is deemed safe.

If your trip with us is for more than one week, fresh bedlinen and towels can be provided for your comfort.

Quiet hamlet located one mile from Great Tew; a beautiful village offering a picturesque award winning pub, The Falkland Arms set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - leave the car behind and walk to the pub by road or cross country! Alessander and Charmaine (Osteria Pizzeria) have now relocated to Stow-on-the-Wold, but still frequented by us - they have made the menu even better!!! If you are in the area, it's great for either lunch or dinner. Soho Farmhouse, an exclusive members country club and restaurant is also set in Great Tew. The Great Tew Estate is also home to The Cornbury Music Festival (usually June/July time) and the Great Tew Horse Trials. Daylesford Organic Farm restaurant and spa is a mere 25 minutes drive away and 10 minutes to Chipping Norton and Woodstock - check out Blenheim Palace, always something going on. Oxford is 30 minutes by car. Check out the Park & Ride services.
