Comfy bed for better sleep

This chic space is nestled on a quiet street in the hip Brooklyn neighborhood, a stone's throw from downtown Portland. Coffee shops, parks, restaurants, antiques, Max line and pubs are all within a few blocks, make strolling around a real pleasure. With all new furnishings and amenities throughout, including WIFI, a dedicated work space and a cozy king size bed, you'll stay in comfort with a modern vibe. The private cozy patio has a unique bamboo Zen fountain and BBQ perfect for chilling out. .

The space
There is dedicated driveway and always free available parking on the street. There are a few stairs up to the cool entry door. The main room is open and inviting with a comfy fold out couch, a nice chair and popup coffee table. There is a 55" smart TV with a soundbar. Netflix and Amazon Prime included. This area integrates seamlessly with the well stocked kitchen with a fold-up desk area if you want to get some work done during your stay. In the hall you will find a large built-in cabinet with games, extra linens, etc. and the laundry system is next to it behind a unique wine barrel stave barn door. The modern bathroom with a floating sink and glass door shower containing a wonderful rain head is at the end of the hall with a locking pocket door for privacy. Lastly the bedroom is to the left. It has a King size bed 2 nightstands, full size dresser with a 42" smart TV above and a full closet. The bedroom shade is a blackout if your nightly adventures run a little late.

Guest access
Even though it is a duplex with a shared wall, 1407 is all yours. You will have your own code for the well lit keyless entry door. The private patio is on the other side of the garage. That outside space is also just for you and requires a key that is always hung up in the unit. So if you have your own bike or other items you need to store out there, feel free.

Other things to note
This Mid-century duplex got a complete renovation in 2022. It has a comfortable feel with Northwest vibes and nods to Asian styling. It has all of the modern amenities that you crave. You will immediately see the attention to detail that went into creating this space as a place to relax between adventures throughout our city.

Neighbourhood highlights

The historic Brooklyn neighborhood still has it’s old school charm, but new gems are improving it every year. Earning a walking score of 90, within 1/2 a mile there are 10+ restaurants, 5 bars/pubs, 4 coffee/tea shops, 3 minimarts, 2 parks, an antiques shop, pharmacy, a fantastic German deli, live theatre venue, post office, and even a Cider house , Bottle shop(beer) and a dispensary all with great selections. There really are things to do in every direction and It definitely makes strolling around a real pleasure.
