Great location

Guests who stayed here in the past year loved the location.
Exclusive group accommodation in a unique garden setting, in a village like atmosphere, providing spaciousness for groups to spread out or come together. Everything needed for extended family groups, retreats, gatherings and workshops. Enjoy a sing a long around the grand piano in the living room, or share a meal all together in the dining room. All the kids will love to gather around the in ground olympic trampoline, jumping for joy. Walk through the gardens and watch the ducks and other birds.

The space
Affording stunning views of the Wombat State Forest, Tasma House rests in the landscaped gardens of the historic Tasma House and Gardens. The grounds are recognised as significant by Australia's Open Gardens Scheme. There's even an in-ground, olympic-sized, trampoline!

The famous Daylesford Mill Market is just a short walk away, and the bustling foodie heart of the town is only a brisk walk along the road. Beautiful Daylesford Lake is also within walking distance.

Tasma House and Gardens is great for groups, clubs, workshops, retreats, training sessions, gatherings, 40th/50th/60th-and-beyond birthday celebrations.

Despite its proximity to Daylesford attractions, however, Tasma House and Gardens feels quiet and secluded. Hydronic central heating operates in the main house.
Garden Bungalows have individual heating.

Tasma House has a commercial espresso machine in the kitchen, free wireless internet access, and laundry access.

Three separate garden bungalow rooms allow sleeping for up to eight guests. There are six single beds and one double bed in these garden bungalow rooms which are situated about five metres from Tasma House and surrounded by terraces, courtyards and the tea garden.

Neighbourhood highlights

Tasma House is located in central Daylesford, but on the edge of town, where the town meets the natural environment. The houses are spread far apart, down a one lane road. It is an old established area, with a mix of ancient miners cottages, and newer homes. It abutts the mineral springs reserve, and the Wombat forrest, giving bushwalkers, and weekend visitors a chance to walk along the many paths close by the house. Tasma House was originally built in the 1800's as a miners cottage, and then turned into a guest house in the 1920's, re imagined in the late nineties, and later opened as exclusive group accommodation around 2010. The neighbourhood is friendly and welcoming, with a small town feel.
