Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Exclusive group accommodation in a unique garden setting, in a village like atmosphere, providing spaciousness for groups to spread out or come together. Everything needed for extended family groups, retreats, gatherings and workshops. Enjoy a sing a long around the grand piano in the music room, or share a meal all together in the dining room. All the kids will love to gather around the in ground olympic trampoline, jumping for joy. Walk through the gardens and feed the ducks and other birds.

The space
Affording stunning views of the Wombat State Forest, Tasma House rests in the 1.5 acre landscaped gardens of the historic Tasma House and Gardens. The grounds - recognised as significant by Australia's Open Gardens Scheme - "feature majestic trees, towering hedges, wisteria arbors, banks of lavender, espaliered fruit trees, and ornamental ponds." There's even an in-ground, olympic-sized, trampoline!

The famous Daylesford Mill Market is just a short walk away, and the bustling foodie heart of the town is only a brisk walk along the road. Beautiful Daylesford Lake is also within walking distance.

Tasma House and Gardens is great for groups, clubs, girls weekends, workshops, retreats, training sessions, gatherings, intimate weddings involving up-to 20 people, as well as for 40th/50th/60th-and-beyond birthday celebrations.

Despite its proximity to Daylesford attractions, however, Tasma House and Gardens feels quiet and secluded. The main house provides accommodation featuring five bedrooms, two separate lounges (one with a baby grand piano), both with large flat screen LCD TVs with DVD players, two bathrooms - one with bathshower over, another with walk-in shower, the historic kitchen/meeting area and a large kitchen with dining area which is suitable for running workshops or group activities.

Hydronic heating operates in the main house.

Tasma House has a commercial espresso machine in the kitchen, free wireless internet access, and laundry access.

Three separate garden bungalow rooms allow sleeping for up to eight guests. There are six single beds and one double bed in these garden bungalow rooms which are situated about five metres from Tasma House and surrounded by terraces, courtyards and the tea garden.
Tasma House is for the exclusive use of the group in residence.
Tasma House has 14 individual beds.

Tasma House and Gardens is often utilised for intimate wedding ceremonies. The wisteria arbour acts as an informal "aisle" with plenty of shade trees and garden "rooms" and vistas providing for great photographic opportunities. Ceremonies involving acoustic musicians in the gardens are permitted during daylight hours. Intimate weddings are those with a maximum of 20 people total: this includes the photographer, musicians, celebrant, caterer, overnight and day visitor/guests, and the family along with the wedding couple.

Tasma House and Gardens is in a residential area, with all the comforts of a big, rambling, country house. As the mark of respect to our friends and neighbours who live in the area, functions and receptions are not encouraged.

There are a number of great country halls in the region, with local bus and taxi services to assist in getting people safely to and from these venues. Weddings and receptions that consist of more than 20 people in total should look at hire opportunities in the local halls. Tasma House is ideal for a bride’s and/or groom’s extended family to stay together.
