A tranquil single room stone cottage hidden in a lush walled garden. Located in Stirling, our Hideaway is a short stroll down leafy pathways to the bustling villages of Stirling and Crafers.

This sophisticated private space is the ideal base from which to explore the forested streets of Stirling, Mount Lofty and the botanic gardens and the cellar doors of the Adelaide Hills.

The space
The Stone Hideaway is a private, single room stone cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The space is spacious for two. Sleep in the Queen bed and relax by the cozy fire in winter.

Whether you just want coffee and a cheese platter or something more substantial, there is a kitchenette, BBQ and dining space for your convenience.

A private shady garden is available for a morning coffee and an afternoon wine. The garden includes a firepit, lawn and terrace. Recline under the oak trees and watch the birds. The Hideaway garden transforms with the seasons - come in Autumn to enjoy the coloured oak trees or summer to enjoy the greenery and flowers!

For longer stays, a washing machine is available

Stirling is always approx 5 degrees cooler than Adelaide CBD, and the nights can be cold, so please pack for this year round. But luckily we have a fireplace and air-conditioning (usually not needed), blankets & linen to keep you cosy.

Guest access
Hideaway guests will have access to their own private stone cottage and the surrounding garden. The garden includes a firepit and terrace with BBQ facilities.

We provide enough wood for the fireplace inside. If you’d like to use the fire pit the Stirling Woodyard and local service stations sell wood.

Other things to note
There is a parking space just outside the cottage.
Our parking is electric vehicle friendly! Bring your own vehicle power cord and use the convenient power point next to the space.

The Hideaway is located directly above our garage with the windows looking down onto our driveway, which is in use. However the cottage remains fully private with its own entryway, parking, private garden and top-opening blinds.

We have provided enough fire wood to keep the internal fire place going. If you would like to enjoy the fire pit you’ll need to source some extra wood. The Stirling Woodyard and local service stations sell wood bags.

Bookings are for a maximum of 2 people only. We are unable to accommodate any group gatherings, wedding vehicles or parties.
