The Kokomea PurePod is positioned to take full advantage of the stunning sunset views. Kokomea means sunset glow
in Te Reo Māori, and that's the perfect description as you look out across Kāpiti Island as day slowly turns into night.

With beautiful sweeping views across to the iconic Island which is one of New Zealands most accessible predator-free natures reserves, it gives you the opportunity to observe birds that are either rare or no longer on the mainland.

The space
The first thing you'll notice about your PurePod is its heavenly and private location.

The PurePod is totally self-contained with cooking facilities, a toilet, an extraordinary shower (all glass), crockery, games, and acres and acres of privacy. An optional add-on dinner & breakfast package can be purchased after booking, or you can bring your own supplies.

The privacy, the isolation of a tiny glass hut completely surrounded by nature – the sky, the hills, the sea, the birds, the bush – takes you to another world.

Guest access
The walk from your secure carpark sets the tone for your secluded overnight escape and will take you around 15 minutes.

Please note this accommodation is not suitable for those with mobility issues.
