Pussycat Cottage is a surprisingly spacious 3 bedroomed cottage in the village of Bourton-on the-Water; it is perfectly placed as somewhere to set off exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding areas and it is an absolute haven for walkers! Built of traditional Cotswold stone, it has been recently redecorated to a high standard and is cosy, yet spacious. With period features, a wood burning stove and a pub at the end of the lane, what more could you ask for in a Cotswold retreat?

The space

Downstairs there is an entrance porch, WC, lounge with exposed beams, inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove, a playroom/den with exposed beams, sofa, books, toys and games and a fully equipped kitchen/diner. A set of french doors lead off from the kitchen into a pretty courtyard garden, it enjoys sunshine all day long and is perfect for al fresco dining!

Upstairs opens up onto a large hallway where there are three good-sized double bedrooms (master bedroom with vaulted ceiling) leading off and a family bathroom with bath and shower over bath.

Outside the front of the property there's a perfect sun trap where you'll find a small secluded seating area to enjoy it. There is also off-road parking for up to two cars.

This delightful cottage is an easy stroll to the shops and pubs of the village but in a very quiet back lane -- perfect! Everything was ready for our arrival, the cottage is clean, neat, and cosy. The chocolate biscuits were a marvellous welcoming touch - thank you Emily!

The cottage worked great for our purposes...easy to find and check-in. The location is wonderful for walks about town or the neighboring villages. Emily stays on top of any communication as well.

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful part of the world. A wonderful base from which to explore the Cotswolds. Pussycat Cottage was everything it claimed to be and made our stay very special.

We've just returned from a very relaxing stay at Pussycat Cottage. We found the place to be very welcoming when we arrived and accommodated six adults and a toddler without too much trouble. The house was kept very warm with the central heating and there's a good quality woodburning stove to use too if needed. The cottage is well equipped with everything we required for the stay to feel like a home from home. The village of Bourton-on-the-water is a short walk from the cottage and offers good shopping amenities and a few attractions too. We'd love to return in the future if we get the opportunity.
