Just as wonderful as our last stay. The perfect winter getaway. I'm sure we'll be back again.

Bob's place is great, full of character and charm. It is apparent that someone has put a lot of care and thought into the building and decorating of the building. Our stay was really lovely, there was plenty of firewood, the outdoor bath was a treat and it felt private and peaceful. the kitchen is basic, as in no oven and a one burner gas stove and grill combo but it is well equipped. There is a bbq as well. The bed was comfortable and playing board games or reading in front of the openfire place was really nice! I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

We had a very relaxing time here escaping for the city and completely shutting off (especially mobiles!). My favourite part was reading in front of the fire and having a wine in the afternoon sun on the verandah overlooking the beautiful valley. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to unwind and relax.

Bob and Julie's place is one to behold. Nestled in the bush, you'll find a warm shelter carved out of wood! Gather around the fire, cook up a stew, or have a bath under the stars. Incredible place, we will not forget it. If you do end up going, do not pass up on an opportunity to canoe along the river.

The bush hut was the perfect little get away! It was so authentic from the wood fire place to the outdoor bath! It was so nice to not look at our phones or computers and just relax with a cup of tea and a book. Truly refreshing and so close with nature. Couldn't recommend it highly enough! Bob was also so lovely to have a little chat too! His dogs and the donkey Brian were also the best accomplices! Will definitely be back as soon as we can! Georgia & Ben

We had a delightful time at the Hut! Beautiful, beautiful location. Very private and, well, pretty remote really. Very basic amenities - not by accident, but by design - in the best possible way, there is everything you need. Great pink vintage flush toilet, incredible vintage gas refrigerator, little old school cooktop. All of the above are solid and work perfectly. Fantastic large fireplace with heaps of lovely dry split wood. Weather was cool in the evenings when we were there and sitting on the big sofa with a roaring fire each evening was beyond relaxing! You can sit in the big outdoor tub with a glass of champagne (as we did) and watch the stars come out. Bird life was wonderful. The cabin is really a marvel, all handmade and, I'm guessing, salvaged materials. Really fun. All the lighting is solar powered, but note, no electrical power points for charging phones, etc. But this little place isn't about modern technology, it's about winding down and taking a big gulp of fresh, clean air and sinking in to the little day bed on the veranda for a nap in the sun.

The Bush Hut was beautiful and serene. We loved how quiet and relaxing it was being so far from everything. The outdoor bath was a highlight for us and we found ourselves in it each night watching the sun go down. We were then able to come back inside to the lovely warm fire.
