The space
This centrally located 50sqm apartment in National Park (on the boundary of a duel World Heritage site) is suitable for a couple, families, and groups. Warm home with double glazing & heatpump. High ceilings. Easy access to the door up a ramp. The wooden walls will instantly relax you as you take a nice hot shower in the large bathroom where there is a heater and heated towel rail. Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed and Single bed with a small area for clothes. Bedroom 2 has two Single beds, a small area for clothes. Chairs in each room. Views of Mt. Ruapehu from both bedrooms. The new kitchenette is well equipped for your stay. Tea, coffee, and sugar provided. Microwave / air fryer/ mini oven combo and cook top for cooking. Fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, pots,(no frying pans allowed), cutlery and crockery. Small living area. Dining table and chairs to relax and eat your meals with heatpump/aircon above.

Other things to note
When departing please turn off the heatpump, lights, leave sorted recycling (recycling separate from the rubbish ) and rubbish in apartment in bags provided, lock and return key to the lockbox. Please leave place clean and tidy. Thanks

National Park, Manawatu-Wanganui, New Zealand

National Park is a small urban village with BEAUTIFUL VIEWS so take your camera. You might be able to capture a good shot of the VOLCANOES, Mt. Ngauruhoe, Mt. Tongariro and Mt. Ruapehu at sunset when the snow turns pink after a clear sunny day. The night sky is perfect for stargazing. National Park is at a very high altitude on the central plateau. Be prepared to experience the wilderness. Convenient place to stay for those fit people to HIKE THE TONGARIRO CROSSING. It is also an ideal starting point for MOUNTAIN BIKING to bike tracks nearby. There is a CLIMBING WALL in Findlay St. The area has a well equipped 4 SQUARE (closes 7pm) to buy supplies/PETROL STATION. Get your morning coffee fix here at the FOOD CART, open 7.30-3.30. it is only 15 mins from the nearest SKIFIELD AT MT. RUAPEHU. Ski rental is right next to us at SKI BIZ @ THE ALPINE CENTRE on Carroll St. & is the place to buy or rent ski gear or hire all necessary hiking gear! There is a small primary school and a PARK/PLAYGROUND on Buddo St. Many EATING PLACES such as The Park Hotel for a cosy meal out and a drink by the fire . (Option to order takeaway from any of their delicious menu such as yummy pizzas). The Schnapps bar is open for lunch and dinner and where you can have a fun game of MINIGOLF. The Station : Cafe is open Wednesday to Sunday 8.00am to 3.00pm. Dinner open Thurs, Fri, Sat. 5pm to 9pm. CamoKai takeaways are literally across the road from us (no.13) for awesome burgers or fish and chips (open Tues. to Sat. only, 5pm-8pm). National Park is also not far from WHAKAPAPA village. Visit the interesting information centre next door to the Chateau to get some ideas of what to do during your stay. (And there's plenty to do winter or summer! ) Start your 2 hour TARANAKI FALLS circuit hike from the Skotel. Take the Bruce Road up the mountain to the Whakapapa skifield and the SKYWAKA GONDOLA, which is popular for sightseeing all year round, to the highest restaurant in New Zealand.
