The Main Bedroom. Airy and bright. A little noisy during the day, but at night the traffic dies down and little noise. The second bedroom, with two single beds. Great for your friends or the kids.

Sparkling clean10 recent guests have said that this home was sparkling clean.

An unique accommodation alternative, a destination which is unlike any other in Bathurst! The living room is like a "New York Warehouse", though this place functions for you as a two bedroom home, with a bathroom and kitchen. The 170 yr old school hall is still being renovated, and this is ongoing, however all of it is outside. During the day, traffic is a bit noisy, but at night, very quiet. A couple of things to consider, the main living space is huge and not as warm as some would like.

A unique, stylish piece of history. Love hearing about the history of the property and how Philip has been renovating it into the charming place it is. Wish I had more time just lazing on the lounge with my feet up in front of the heat, reading books. Due to the vast space the pl…

If you love being a part of history evolving in a very old building and love big open spaces you’ll enjoy the Old Parish Hall. Philip is very hospitable and happy to share the story of history being preserved and reshaped.

Response from Philip:
Dear Wendy, it was an inspiration to see your large 2.5 metre by 1 metre drawings spread out on the floor of Old Parish Hall. You used the space like it should, a place of learning and inspiration, after all, the Old Parish Hall was originally the Church of England School of Kelso. Hope to see you again.

Thank you Naomi for such a wonderful review. Especially the tips on the cold. Good news is, by next winter there will be a new roof on. With insulation. The wind that blows through the gaps in the roof says..... it's time. (I will have much cheaper heating bills lol)
