Duckcottage is a five room stone settlers cottage built in 1853 on five acres of bushland at Second Valley. The property is now a refuge for wildlife so it is NOT suitable for dogs or cats. We call it 'duck' cottage because of the height of the doorways. It has been lovingly restored, and the habitat for birds and native animals has been established through revegetation. The property is secluded (there are no neighbours in sight) but it is a short drive to the beach.

A lovely cottage that will facilitate losing sense of one's traditional time....and instead be altered into a slower more enriched experience of time. Very refreshing for the mind and body.

Thank you for having Amanda and I stay at your beautiful cottage, Margie! It certainly lived up to its names sake. I'm 6ft 3 and only managed to bump my head once, so thanks for the warning! Haha. Idyllic location and just a short trip to the beach and only 10mins down the road…
