'Ferment' Guest Suite is part of the original homestead on the property over 160 years old that Dean and Lou Hewitson have lovingly restored. Stay on a working vineyard and winery in the epicentre of Barossa Valley and enjoy unbridled access to all the Valley has to offer.

The suite opens to small courtyard garden and is a 15 metre walk to the deck overlooking our vineyard. Take in these unparalleled views while enjoying a glass of Hewitson Wines.

The space
‘Ferment’ Suite is a contemporary space, beautifully furnished for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The Suite opens to a living room with a window bench seat with remote control curtains and a flat screen television.

This adjoins a dining area with electric fireplace leading to a kitchenette including the mini-bar fridge and wine fridge stocked with super-premium Hewitson wines, dishwasher, sink with hot and cold water, toaster, toastie sandwich maker, microwave, kettle with teas, milk & sugar and a Nespresso coffee maker.

The living and dining areas open to the bedroom with a King Bed fitted with all-natural fibre quality bed linens and a flat screen television. The adjoining en-suite bathroom featuring modern finishes, towel warmers and Leif body products.

The area comes with two flat-screen televisions, reverse cycle A/C and free wifi. Our suite and winery are environmentally sustainable using 100% solar energy.

There are great dining options available and all just a few minutes away, which we can highly recommend. Most restaurants accept BYO and please let them know you are our guest. You can purchase wine from your Guest Room and from our Tasting Room; or ask us for our Old & Rare Museum Cellar list and choose something special! let us know in advance. Reds will be left on the mini-bar and whites in the fridge in your room.
