My place is close to the airport and public transport, with beautiful views over the Mosel and the vineyards opposite. My place is good for couples, business travellers, and small groups (up to 10).

A continental self-service breakfast is provided from your own personal refrigerators, (Toast bread, butter, eggs, cheese, ham, jams, fruit salad, milk, cereal, muesli, coffee and tea).

The space

the breakfast room is on the ground floor, and it can also be used as a communal room at any time of day or night.

There is a large terrace with a trust bar, where you can sit and enjoy a drink in the evening.

Guest access

Guests at zum Anker are provided with their own front door key, allowing them to come and go as they please at any time of day or night.

Interaction with guests

The atmosphere here is totally relaxed and informal, and as such we don't expect to see much of our guests.

Other things to note

Extra towels and essentials are provided during your stay, but your rooms will not be serviced whilst you are here.

Wifi can be a bit patchy in the upper rooms, but can always be accessed in the communal room or on the terrace.

A big thank you to Frank & Stefan for their hospitality and generosity during our stay in Briedel. Everything was perfect, including the well stocked fridge and free schnapps :). We will be back.

We were warmly welcomed by Stefan, our helpful host, and given all necessary information. The complimentary goodies were much appreciated - breakfast selections, a bottle of wine etc. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the view to the Mosel is charming. Everything went smoothly and I would certainly recommend this stay to anyone.

Wonderful location in the Moselle valley. Quiet peaceful town with a couple of great restaurants and close to Cochem, Burg Eltz and even Trier. Really enjoyed the full breakfast and well appointed room.

The wine tasting at Weingut Edward Kroth that Stefan arranged was walking distance from our rooms and the BEST we've ever had (yes, better than Napa Valley). If you get the opportunity - don't pass it up1
