Welcome to Blacksmith Villa—a place of peaceful Mediterranean calm, thoughtful design, and a quiet story woven into every arch and surface.

A stay filled with warmth, style, and a quiet kind of luxury that carries a personal history in it's walls—it was once the private home of Blacksmith Provedore's founder. Today, you can expect the same spirit as our Provedore next door: generous, inviting, and made for connection.

The space
Step through the ivy-clad front door and into a world that feels far from the everyday. Every surface, every corner, has been curated with intention— art, texture and thoughtful design make it feel unmistakably like home.

Sleeping six across three queen bedrooms—in the main space, two queen rooms offer comfort and calm, including a master bedroom separated from the lounge by a linen-draped archway. The third bedroom is accessed via the courtyard—a private suite with its own ensuite and fireplace, perfect for couples or friends seeking a little more seclusion.

At the centre of it all is the kitchen—anchored by an island bench that invites people to gather, graze, and linger. It’s fully equipped for slow breakfasts or shared dinners—or if you're not feeling up to the task, have Blacksmith Kitchen deliver some home-made, ready to cook meals.

The adjoining living space, with its fireplace and soft light, offers a cosy spot to retreat. And outside, the open-air courtyard sets the scene for alfresco meals, pastel skies, and evenings by the fire. With a BBQ grill, outdoor dining table and lounge chairs, it’s made for unwinding.

Our Surroundings
Stay in, sink into the rhythm of the villa, or head next door to Blacksmith Provedore for wine, woodfired pizza, and that unmistakable sense of being somewhere special. Beyond the villa, explore the charm of Mulwala, the Murray River region, and the laid-back towns that dot the borderlands—each offering its own take on country hospitality. Lake Mulwala is at the end of our driveway, with a long, leisurely walk by the water being our favourite way to start the day.

Whether you come to reconnect, retreat, or simply breathe, Blacksmith Villa invites you to slow down and savour it all.
