We loved staying at Brad's place. It's a superbly furnished 3 bedroom house on about 17 acres. It's quiet with a lovely view out over the paddocks and the garden that Brad is establishing. Kangaroos visited every evening and morning (but separated from the house by fencing). It felt like being in your own home with ample supplies of wood for the fire which we used every evening. The attention to detail is wonderful - lots of magazines to read, cookbooks available if you wanted to cook up a storm as well as novels and DVDs etc. It's an easy 20 minute walk into the village and we had no problem doing that of an evening. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Du Fermier in the village and would recommend that to anyone visiting Brad's place. We loved Trentham and will certainly stay there again next time we visit and look forward to seeing what Brad does with the garden in the years to come. Cheers Roxarne and Stephen

Little Farm Lodge is perfect in every way. The house itself is very homely, relaxing, bright and beautifully decorated. The garden is gorgeous and you can tell Brad has put a lot of heart, soul and hard work in to making the house and garden so wonderful. Brad greeted us on arrival at the Lodge and made us feel very welcome from the get go. He even provided some gluten free and vegan items for me as part of the hamper to suit my dietary requirements which is very thoughtful. We stayed for 3 nights over the long weekend with our two fur babies. They enjoyed cozying up by the fire and running around the yard. They had a ball. Trentham Town is an easy 20 minute walk. The house is in a quiet location, secluded and private but close enough to everything you need. We loved our stay so much we are already talking about when we can go back. Would highly recommend Little Farm Lodge. It's just amazing. Whether it be time away as a couple, with the dogs, with the kids or with family or friends. It suits everyone!

I moved to Trentham 10 years ago to enjoy working on larger country gardens as a landscape gardener. Now that I no longer work on other people's gardens, I'm relishing the opportunity to develop this small holding as a large productive garden using organic/bio-dynamic principles. The beginnings are taking shape in the house garden, which includes apples, plums, blueberries, goji berries and thorn-less blackberries interspersed with cool climate exotic plants. Guests will have access to the produce from the house garden including eggs. I live one kilometer from Little Farm and can provide directions for exploring the treasure of the district. You may well see me working in the garden or on the property during your stay. Feel free to come and say hello and see what we're up to.
