Had the most loveliest stay. Though most things are closed this time of the year, it made for a great R & R rest time. The house is just delightful and one cannot help sit and ponder about the history that has passed through it. Sigrid and Klaus are most obliging and helpful and offer a most interesting and knowledgeable wine tasting night with strong connections to the history of Ediger-Ellen, which is such a delightful village. Thank you Sigrid and Klaus.

My father and I stayed at the apartment for 3 nights. It's very nice and clean. The house is old, the owners managed to preserve that old feel and at the same time have a modern kitchen and bathroom. Do watch out for those door frames if you are taller than 6 feet ;) The house is a 5 minute walk from the river. The village is quiet on a weekday and goes to bed early. The church bells wake up at 7 in the morning, so plan your sleep accordingly.

The location is amazing - the village is beautiful and the river is a 60 second walk away. Try the Friderichs wines...

The flat was a lovely space for me and my parents to enjoy the Mosel from and our hosts were very welcoming and responsive. Our wine tasting was amazing, I would recommend staying here to anyone who's looking to get know a very charming and less touristy sidea of the Mosel. Would love to stay again!

Sigrid met us at the home and walked us through the beautifully restored and modernized home. Ediger-Eller is a working village and provides a unique experience. The church bells toll and the vineyards are a short walk. Many wineries and restaurants without the tourist atmosphere of Cochem. Winding streets and cobblestones plus friendly locals and good reasonably priced restaurants. Parking is along the Moselle and was easy. There is a small local grocery with meats, cheeses, breads and friendly owners. WiFi available at the Hotel Georg was excellent and free. The Goerg's owner and his girlfriend Agniezska are happy to provide a good meal and good conversation. Klaus and Sigrid provide a free wine tasting for guests which is really a feast of wine from their own vineyards, cheese and fruit. Klaus explains the vines, wines and growing conditions on the slopes of the Moselle. I guarantee that you will enjoy the wine and conversation. We had a car so Cochem, Bielstein and Burg Eltz were a short drive. We took the river cruise to Cochem and returned by train for an enjoyable day. If you want a village experience with excellent hosts this is the place! The church bells morning and evening are delightful. The daily activities of the wine makers and access to the vineyards is yours. The local restaurants are very good and the wines are a pleasure. Sigrid and Klaus are excellent hosts ! Ediger-Eller is a window into the daily village life along the Moselle. GO! Visit Sigrid and Klaus : relax and enjoy the Moselle's village life.

Host showed us around the house with her daughters & explained, in good English, where everything was and how it worked. House had all for necessary amenities. WIFI would have been useful particularly non-German speakers, inorder to find out more about the local community, what to do, weather etc. Host spent an hour giving me a guided wine tasting of all their wines, which were excellent.
