The space
Tangerine Dream is the pinnacle of seclusion and natural beauty - Enjoy sweeping ocean views over backstairs passage and kangaroo island just outside your door. Gaze out the window directly into the surrounding bushland and see rare and beautiful native wildlife including the stunning black cockatoo, kangaroos, echidnas and more. Its the perfect place to relax, unwind and disconnect from the everyday.
The house itself is a two bedroom cottage with one queen size bedroom and an adjoining bunk room inside of the main residence. An external queen bedroom is separate in its own out-building with personal deck, outdoor bath and shower. The indoor kitchen is stocked with everything you need to self-cater and we have an undercover outdoor dining area and BBQ on the deck and a “cowboy cooker” firepit with curved custom concrete benches on the lawn. Star gazing whilst cooking over the open flame – does it get any better? Cosy combustion fireplace, amble retro lounges to relax on and barista coffee machine with supplied quality beans indoors means you wont be going without creature comforts if you desire them.
We encourage everyone to fully explore the property and enjoy the natural environment but have also provided plenty of indoor entertainment options: spin a record from our own curated collection, flick through a coffee table book, play a board game or binge watch your favourite show on one of the many streaming services provided. Retro and modern design elements set off the interior to provide that perfect holiday feel no matter what you decide to do!

Tangerine Dream and the 3,000sqm property are all yours for private use during your stay. There is amble parking for multiple cars on site.
Other things to note
Please note there is no mains water at Deep Creek. We rely on two large rain water tanks and whatever we can collect in them. We recommend bring your own drinking water. Please keep this in mind during your stay.
Tangerine Dream is ideal getaway for a group of friends or family, as it sleeps six people. Please note it is cozy though - with only 4 total rooms in the main house and 1 seperate bedroom in the outbuilding. It's also a great house for kids however please note we do not provide cots, high chairs or any other amenities specifically for babies or young children. So whatever you need, please bring it with you. The house is not "baby proofed" but we trust parents judgment in regard to this.
Please note our rates are based on two guests, a charge of $40 per person, per night applies for any additional. This will be calculated when you add your guest numbers below.
Delamere and Cape Jervis are the closet towns (both 10 minutes drive), they have general stores for very basic supplies and fuel, cape Jervis has a colourful Tavern for great Thai food and takeaway but there are no other shops so please bring all of your desired supplies with you. At a pinch you can easily drive to Normaville in just 25 minutes where cafes, restaurants and supermarkets await.
Whilst secluded, Tangerine Dream still makes a great home base to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula. Only 40 minutes to Victor Harbour, 50 minutes to the famous McLaren Vale wine region. Theres a huge number of beaches, towns and sights that can be accessed all under an hours drive from the property.
