Our 4 star secluded detached former farm steading has been tastefully converted to form a uniquely traditional yet modern dwelling sleeping up to 5 plus infant with all the conveniences you would expect from a quality self-catering holiday cottage.
My place is good for couples, golfers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

Windrush Holiday Cottage dates from 1880 originating as a farm steading grain store barn. Traditionally stone built with pan-tiled roof exterior whilst inside the style is somewhat modern whilst maintaining a sense of the countryside traditions and comfort for our guests. You can be assured of high 4 star quality .
Full oil central heating , woodburner stove and gas hob.Private water supply.
The spacious cottage is self contained with a private garden and parking area with no neighbouring onlookers apart from the 4 legged variety in neighbouring fileds.
Comfortably sleeps 5 plus a baby with flexible arrangements to suit groups or families. A small extra fee of £25 will be added for each pet ( maximum 2)
You will have the complete use of the entire cottage as well as access to the fields for recreation .

Extra large living room which splits neatly into two areas ....the double height open ceiling of the left area has a large woodburner stove ideal for cosy evenings snuggling in enjoying a wee dram in wintertime .
Fireside chairs and a double sofa bed . Xbox and wii consoles along with a good selection of games . Magazines and books.
Other side has a comfortable leather suite and 42" HD TV , DVD player and Freesat channels along with a wide selection of DVD's , books and toys in a (URL HIDDEN) player and music CD's . Those with musical talent may wish to play the piano or guitar . French doors lead out onto patio and BBQ area.
Staircase leads up to the master galleried bedroom.
French doors lead out to the rear garden area with clothes drying area and log and coal bunker.
Master bedroom- Sumptous 6ft superking zip link bed which can be divided into 2 singles upon request before arrival.Large sliding mirrored wardrobe , dressing table , chair , hairdryer .
Single day bed so this room comfortably sleeps 3.
Juliette balcony french doors offering a wonderful countryside view to wake up to looking towards Largo Law hill and beyond .

Interaction with guests
I shall be here to welcome you upon arrival and hand over the keys and give a short tour and answer any questions you may have. I live the in the famhouse nearby so if needed you may contact me easily for any assistance whilst staying.
Pet Policy - Please note that a maximum of two dogs are allowed and we would ask that they are not left alone in the property . They can use the field for exercise though all mess must be cleared up . The garden is self enclosed when gates are shut .Please bring towels for dog use and bedding if necessary as animals are not permitted on the beds . The property must be hoovered before departure if pets are brought. Note that there are sheep in the neighbouring fields though well fenced this is at the owners risk if let off their lead. A small additional charge of £25 per dog is payable directly to the owner upon check in thank you .
Linen is included - sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, throws in the rental charge. One hand and bath towel per person are provided along with tea towels. Please bring your own beach towels. A cot( bed linen for cot not supplied so please bring your own to fit a 120x60cm mattress), high chair and stair gates are provided if requested at the time of booking, the cot is for children under two only. Electricity, gas (for kitchen hob) ,oil central heating and an initial supply of logs and coal for the wood burner are included in the rental charge though excessive consumption is to be avoided and may be charged for – extra logs can be bought from the hirer at a fair cost. Please switch off heating if out all day .If longer than a week is rented then the owner shall provide a change of bedding and towels .
Baggage and personal belongings are at the Hirer's risk at all times, and no responsibility can be accepted for loss of or damage to any vehicle, its contents and other personal belongings. Parking is provided within the garden next to the cottage – avoid parking on the turning point outside as access is required by oil and gas tankers to fill up on occasion. Please shut gates. Please ensure that all windows and doors are locked when not occupying the property and when asleep at night.
CARING FOR YOUR SAFETY
Every reasonable effort has been made to mitigate possible safety hazards in the property. However, it is guests responsibility (particularly parents with young children) to inspect the property and grounds immediately on arrival and note any possible hazards. The steps to the rear are perhaps unsuitable for the very young or elderly. Check the layout of your holiday property so that in an emergency you can get out quickly and easily. Please remember that older properties were built before the days of minimum ceiling/door heights and easy stair gradients .Fire extinguisher and blanket available in kitchen smoke detectors are operational.
Also guests agree to absolve the Property Owner of any responsibility for any accident or mishap to persons or property whilst on the premises or whilst engaged in any activity therein, or from any illness or injury arising from any cause whatsoever.
Under no circumstances shall our liability to you exceed the amount paid by you to us.
Up to date safety certificates for gas and private water available upon request. All electrical equipment is PAT tested .
If you have any reason to complain please notify the owner who will make all reasonable efforts to assist and resolve the issue. The owner will not normally make any refund or recompense in respect of a complaint made after departure, if the complaint was not made known to the owner during the holiday rental period.
The property let is to be used for the purposes of a holiday let to which Section12 (2) and paragraph 8 of Schedule 4 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 apply. The booking agreement confers a right to occupy the accommodation for the agreed period only.
The Hiring Contract is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities, as published on the internet, will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the property is not available through events beyond the control of the owner, then they may be forced to cancel the booking. The hirer will be advised of any such circumstances as early as possible, and will be refunded all monies paid, in full, with the Hirer having no further claim against the owner.
