Plenty of room for family or flying-club fun, or bring a book, chill and cook beautiful dinners in quiet surrounds. At this beautifully restored farmhouse you can walk through cotton and wheat fields with kangaroos, wallabies and a rich birdlife. There are dams for big and little kids alike to fish, and learn where your food and fibre comes from. For city stargazers the Milky Way can be unforgettable.
Our free range chickens will be very happy to share some eggs for your breakfast too.

The space
This is a large, lovely renovated old farmhouse. Inside we've kept it simple; with a large kitchen and BBQ for cooking, and a beautiful wooden table that seats 10. Snuggle down in front of the fireplace in winter and enjoy the shady garden and big backyard in summer.

There are 2 sets of bunk beds in one room, a queen in the main bedroom and a double with a single bunk over the top for any family with young children.

For those flying in the 1000m dirt airstrip is just 100m walk from the house.

Pets are allowed, but please keep them outside or in the laundry & hat room (outside the laundry).

Where you’ll be

Narromine, New South Wales, Australia

Narromine is 6 hour drive from Sydney. The farm house is about 4kms from where we live so we're not too far if you need anything. Narromine is a farming area and the house is 25 mins drive into town. The area is very flat, but quiet as the closest neighbours are also 4kms away.
An hour away is the Western Plains Dubbo Zoo - a fantastic safari style park that you can cycle, drive or walk around. There's also the Royal Flying Doctors Experience in Dubbo.
Narromine has a great Aviation Museum as well.
