Where you’ll be

Phnom Penh, Cambodia

The house is located on in a quiet alley with mostly middle class Cambodian families as our neighbors. Being set a block away from the main street, the house is usually pretty quiet at night, but can be busy during the day.

The house is very central, with just a short walk from some of Phnom Penh’s best restaurants, cafes, bars, and sights: the Independence Monument, Royal Palace, Java Cafe, Joma Cafe, Meta House (German cultural center), Aeon Mall are all a walking distance away. A special treat for Phnom Penh - you would be a 5 min walk from one of the few green areas in Phnom Penh - Independence Park and Vietnamese Friendship Park, which fill up at sunrise and sunset with people playing sports, doing dance classes, and jogging. These parks also link up to Riverside, so if you’re a runner, you can go on loops without having to deal with traffic.

The house is very central. To give you an idea of how far things are:

Piccola D’Italia (Luigi’s - Best Pizza in Phnom Penh) - 300m
Bassac lane (The Library, Meat and Drink, etc.) - 300m
Mama Wong (delicious dumplings) - 300m
Java Cafe (great coffee and art exhibits) - 350m
Joma Cafe - 250m
Sovanna BBQ (most popular Khmer BBQ) - 200m
Independence Monument - 500m
Royal Palace - 1km
National Museum - 1.2km
