Unplug yet be close to it all! This quaint one room cabin with newly added screened porch defines the "glamping" experience with rustic pleasures! There is a queen size mattress, pots & pans, cooler, fire pit, bbq grill, camp stove and washing station. Just a few yards away, a private outhouse AND outdoor shower cube! Enjoy the fresh water stream, play cards, walk the trails & relax in nature knowing you are just minutes away from "the real world"! No electricity, no phone, no stress! Ahhh

The space
Situated at the base area of a 325 acre private forest, this cozy, 10' x 12' cabin room let's you totally unplug yet be close to it all at once! Drive up to your door then relax, write, explor, hike, bike and share through the thousannds of acres that surround your site on my private land that connects to the public forests of the Adirondack Mountains. I call it my "Thoreau Room" because it's where I can write about what I have observed on walks and experiences of the day. Just a mile away from a general store and state campground with hot showers and day passes, 10 minutes to the Town of Lake Luzerne and Lake George and 30 minutes from Saratoga. There are neighbors on the main road, then from your cabin on, it's private land. This multi-seasonal, totally "unplugged", cabin boasts no electricity, heat or running water but makes for a great place for 2 to sleep from Spring to Fall and a terrific day-hut for a snowmobile, snowshoe or cross country winter day. Think of it like a wooden tent room on your private 325 acre campsite!

Inside, there is a comfy queen size mattress ready for your sleeping bags and pillows and I have pots, pans, dishes and flatware. You can cook over the outdoor wood stove or fire pit or use my 2-burner camp stove with your propane canister you can purchase at most gas stations or stores. Eat in the screened porch or at the outside table.

I provide campfire grills, a gallon of water to drink and 2 gallons to wash.
Your site has a dish wash station a clean (really) outhouse with TP and an outdoor shower cube with a one-of-a-kind sun-warmable water jug . There is also a spare cooler and a portable tent heater that takes the same type of propane canisters as the stove. You just really have to bring your personal bedding, food, ice, cups, water, bug spray, towels and clothing. The freshwater stream is only a 100 feet or so away and the trails begin at your doorstep. There is room for a single cot on the porch and 1-3 additional tents ( each additional per day). Near to white water rafting, tubing, Rodeos, Fun Parks and more!
