Enjoy staying at The Woolstore, set meters from the bank of the Murrumbidgee River on our family property. Enjoy the peace and privacy.

Have dinner or a drink on the deck, bring your boat & throw a line in the water, watch the stars by the fire pit or simply read a book & relax. Featuring a fresh interior with all the comforts you need-you'll love this home away from home.

Sofa bed incurs extra $40 per booking.

We now have a selection of home-cooked frozen meals available to purchase.

The space
A freshly updated small house with a large deck facing the Murrumbidgee River. We have natural boat ramp for those who would like to go fishing in their boat.

The name was chosen because this is the site that was The Woolstore at The Homestead (formerly Kerarbury Station.)

Here, wool was stored adjacent to the wharf on the Murrumbidgee River, in anticipation of being loaded onto a paddle steamer, destined to the rail head at Echuca, via Wentworth.

The original structure is no longer with us- but this site has great significance of what once was the property’s access point to the bustling river trade.

Guest access
Guests will be able to access the cabin and bush /river surrounds.

Other things to note
Due to the close proximity to the river, children MUST be supervised at all times.

Also, please note this is a working farm and so there will be farming activity on the property.

We have an outdoor laundry that includes a clothes horse and washing machine.

The sofa bed is available to use as an option to accommodate extra guests- if you wish to use the sofa bed, we will send you a separate invoice to cover charges at $40 per booking.

As of the 7th of July, we now provide home-cooked meals by our friends in Hay 'Foodie Friends'. These delicious pre-cooked meals are available to purchase and are stored in our freezer. Choose from Lamb Shanks, Beef Ragu Sauce (with handmade Zecca pasta provided), or Cannelloni. Please get in touch for more info.
