Wallace, Victoria, Australia

Wallace is quiet and rural but just a 15 minute drive to the major regional city of Ballarat with a host of things to do and places to eat. Wallace also has a very fine pub that offers an excellent dining experience Wednesday to Sunday. However, there is no shop in Wallace so you need to have any needs with you before you arrive!

Journalist writing mostly on environmental issues. Living in a small village, Wallace, close to the major inland city of Ballarat, which is a centre for tourism, history, wine and food.
During your stay
I can provide you with information about the region and also the many things to do in Ballarat, something of a tourist mecca with its heritage buildings. It's often very cold here in winter so be prepared! Wallace is very small village and does not even have a shop. There is an excellent pub open Wednesday to Sunday.
