Casbah is the perfect place to bring your family or friends for a fun and relaxing coastal holiday. Super comfy beds and multiple living spaces - plenty of room inside and out outdoor covered deck (with ocean glimpses), private pool, pool table, BBQ, fire pit, secure backyard and only a 5 min walk to the lookout, sea caves, patrolled beach and Caves Coastal Restaurant/Bar. Perfect for a getaway all year round! We also offer a late checkout of 1pm so you can maximise your stay 🙌

The space
Casbah is a luxurious and spacious 2 storey home perfect for families with children to share a relaxing holiday in complete comfort.

Casbah sleeps 6 adults and 6 children or 8 adults and 4 children but a max of 12 guests is allowed at the property at any one time. (Just to clarify this - we have 2 sets of bunks that are suitable for children/teens only due to weight restrictions). Please see below for detailed bed configurations.

Casbah is a spacious family-friendly home with all the luxuries inc comfortable beds and furniture, gourmet kitchen, swimming pool (unheated), games/bunks room, pool table, fire pit, air con and gas fireplace so you can enjoy your stay in comfort all year round...

Large bifold doors lead out from the kitchen to a large covered deck overlooking the backyard and pool area.

Games/bunk room with lounge area, pool table, large Smart TV and air con
2 x king single bunks together with 2 x king single beds
Games, puzzles and books are provided in the games room which leads out to the covered dining area and backyard with gas BBQ and fire pit.

We also have a porta-cot, highchair and safety gate available for younger family members.

Conveniently located within a 200m walk to the beach, kids playground and local cafes, restaurants and bars. There is plenty to do at Caves beach and the surrounding Lake Macquarie area inc coastal walks, water sports and fishing or just relax in the pool or at the beach.

There is parking for 2 cars in the driveway and plenty of street parking. No need to get in your car after you arrive as beaches, local pub, cafes, two small supermarkets, butcher, chemist and a bottle shop are all within easy walking distance

A limited amount of wood, kindling, newspaper and fire starters are supplied for the fire pit. If you intend to use the fire pit extensively during your stay, then we recommend you bring some of your own otherwise there is a hardware store in Blacksmiths (10 min drive) you can purchase some from 😊

I live in Sydney with my husband Marty and 3 young adult kids. I love spending time at our "Happy Place" relaxing by the pool, taking beach walks and eating out at the pub and beachfront cafe. Being able to walk everywhere and not having to get in the car is the best!! I love being a host and getting to share Casbah with our guests and have a passion for all things property - renovating, design and styling.
