Avonlee Cottage, conveniently located in the heart of Perth's stunning SWAN VALLEY, offers the best of both worlds: semi-rural location with peaceful country feel, while only minutes away from the many attractions of the city.
The two-bedrooms in Avonlee Cottage comfortably sleep 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children, with Bedroom 1 offering a queen bed and Bedroom 2 offering 2 singles. Infants under 2 stay free with a portable cot available on request. Mattresses are luxurious and all bed linen included. With built-in mirrored robes plus a set of drawers in each bedroom, there is plenty of room to unpack and stay for a while. Bedroom 1 includes a desk for your laptop. The family bathroom is separate to the toilet/powder-room and features a shower/spa-bath with all bathroom linen also included.
The modern country kitchen is fully-equipped and includes refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, fan-forced oven, dishwasher, double sink, microwave, kettle, toaster, all crockery (including plastics for the kiddies), cutlery, utensils, pots & pans, bakeware and tea towels. Tea and coffee are provided free of charge, along with enough breakfast goodies for the first breaky after arrival, allowing you to sleep in without a mad dash to the supermarket for supplies. There is also plenty of cupboard space should you be staying at the Cottage for an extended period of time. The dining table comfortably seats six and a highchair is available on request.
Adjoining the kitchen/meals is a gorgeous lounge room overlooking the pretty, enclosed private garden. The lounge includes a super comfy leather sofa, gas fireplace for those crisp winter nights (imagine with a glass of locally produced port in hand...mmmmm!), 39" flat-screen TV, blue-ray DVD player, and a cupboard decked out with a small selection of family DVD's, cards and board games. For your comfort, the Cottage offers reverse cycle, fully-ducted air conditioning - you control the temp.
Step outside from the lounge room and enjoy the Cottage's private garden complete with picturesque horse-rail fence, shady verandah and brand new Webber (BBQ). In cooler months, relax on the bench and soak in the sun and in the hot summer months, take advantage of our large swimming pool. No matter the time of year, bird watching in this area is a must and by taking a stroll down the street at dusk you are almost guaranteed to see kangaroos.
Interaction with guests
Avonlee Cottage is located on the same property as the family residence but is separated from it by a double garage and a wide carport so you are ensured privacy yet are also easily able to contact the owners for any reason. In fact Isaac and Sarah like to meet and greet each visitor. If you have any questions during your stay then feel free to come and ask.

Guests will be provided with house rules within the Cottage however in summary; no smoking is allowed inside or anywhere located under the area covered by the roof (i.e. verandah), pets are not allowed on the property, offensive noise is not permitted and any noise between 10pm and 8am must not be loud enough to disturb the neighbouring properties. Offensive behaviour will not be tolerated at any time. If guests expect visitors they must request permission from the owners. Guests must drive carefully on the driveway as there are many children who live in the area and who use the driveway. The pool is available in the Summer months between the hours of 8:00am-8.00pm (guests are responsible for the safety of themselves and their children at all times whilst using the pool facilities).
