The ski lift tower isn't a feature. It's the structure. It rises from the bathroom floor, through the hallway, and out through the roof — the literal backbone of this custom-built alpine lodge near Mt Buller. Two bedrooms, French linen, wood-fired heating, private fire pit terrace, and Starlink. Sleeps 4. There is nowhere else like this on Airbnb.

The space
Most alpine rentals describe themselves as unique. This one actually is.

Cirque 5 was built around a full-scale, structural ski lift tower. It rises from the bathroom on the ground floor, travels through the hallway, and exits through the roof. It is not decorative. It is load-bearing architecture — the spine of the building — surrounded by ski memorabilia, stone, and hand-crafted timber finishes that make the entire space feel like the Alps came to you.

The apartment is fully self-contained on the ground floor, with a private entrance through a magnificent arched wooden double door with illuminated stained-glass panels. Your arrival sets the tone before you even step inside.

**Bedrooms**
Two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed dressed in French linen sheets and a luxurious mattress topper. Sleeps 4 comfortably.

**Living Area**
Cosy lounge with a large Samsung TV and fast, reliable Starlink internet. A curated selection of books for quieter evenings.

**Kitchen**
Fully equipped with essential cookware and a French press. Stock up in Mansfield on your way in — it's a short drive and worth the stop.

**Bathroom**
Botanical-wallpapered, with a full bath, hair dryer, and premium Grown Alchemist body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Oh — and the tower rises from this room. You'll see it.

**Heating**
Wood-fired heating plus a panel heater backup. You will not be cold.

**Laundry**
In-unit washer and dryer, plus iron. Built for multi-day stays.

**Outdoor Space**
A private terrace with a fire pit and gas BBQ grill, framed by mountain views. The kind of spot where one post-ride beer turns into three.

**The Ducks**
Our resident Muscovy ducks bathe and play just outside the kitchen window. They're not an amenity. They're just here, and guests love them.

Ski, hike, mountain bike, mountaineer, or simply decompress. Cirque 5 is the base.

Guest access
Private access to the entire ground-floor apartment. Entry is through the arched stained-glass double door via a secure lockbox to the right — your unique pin code is sent before arrival for a seamless self check-in.

The terrace, fire pit, and BBQ are exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. There is a separate upstairs accommodation; you won't share any spaces.
