Karin's place is lovely - so peaceful and quiet. We only wished we could have been there longer to enjoy the essentially private beach and the lovely front deck more. The National Park is close-by with such wonderful hiking and kayaking at Alma. Karin' s suggestion to hit the Cinnamon Soul coffee shop/cafe on our drive from her place was a wonderful one!

We really enjoyed our stay. Karin is a marvelous hostess and made us feel at ease and at home. The view is great and the path to the beaches gives a unique access to the bay. Charles

Lovely place and very welcoming host. Great breakfast fixings with delicious local eggs and bread in each room. Spacious and unique rooms! Lovely views from the two upstairs ones. Unique artsy touches throughout. Set in a beautiful rambling garden, enjoy the porch while watching hummingbirds. A hike down to the tidal river is not to be missed for beautiful views of the shoreline in total solitude - perfect! Good proximity to Alma, Fundy NP and Hopewell Rocks etc.

We stayed at Karin's beautiful property for three nights. It was great. The one room appartement/cabin was beautiful, clean and perfectly equipped. The breakfast, which is also included in the price, was a nice extra (eggs, bread, milk, jam). Karin is a perfect host. The communication went very well, we could ask her or her son questions about the area and Karin made sure that we had everything we need for the breakfast! We can definitely recommend staying at her place as the location is beautiful too.

My husband an I stayed at Karin's place while visiting the Fundy National Park. The units we stayed in was self contained with all of the necessary kitchen equipment to cook breakfast and even dinner one evening. Karin provides all of the necessary supplies of fresh eggs, bread and milk to cook a copious breakfast and brew your own coffee. This arrangement suited us just fine, allowing a relaxed breakfast schedule. Karin was a great host and checking in was really easy. Karin, who lives across the garden in the main house, was very discrete but was always there when we wanted to ask for information. There is a nice little hike that can be reached from the back of Karin's garden on a private path down to the bay and around the point. Karin gave us some great directions on how to go around the point at low tide and also had a lot of good recommendations for the park, the area in general and restaurants in Alma. For the two mornings that we stayed at Karin's place, we were lucky to have beautiful weather and enjoyed our breakfast on the deck overlooking the bay of Fundy. During breakfast, we also had the pleasure to be visited by a pair of hummingbirds that came up close to check us out and fed on the honeysuckle vine. In the end, we didn't want to leave and I wish I had booked for an extra night instead of moving on. I will certainly stay at Karin's place again when we return to Fundy National Park.

Our stay at Karin's place in New Horton's was great. We appreciated the fresh eggs and bread, and the gorgeous views! Our room was just lovely, with artistic touches. It was a very peaceful vacation, and we were glad to have such a nice hike right from the property.
