This is a limited opportunity to rent both the Oystershed studio and the main house to create two independent living zones on the one property. The Oystershed is a well established Airbnb rustic retreat on the Pittwater. Together with the main house this creates an ideal holiday destination for two couples or a family with independent children. This water access-only, waterfront property is surrounded by National Park for easy access to many walking trails or enjoying water based activities.

The space
The main house overlooks The Oystershed and jetty and is surrounded by a large wrap around deck for outdoor dining and relaxing. This simple bungalow style house has been renovated with open plan and outdoor living in mind. The original French doors and old louvre windows open up to the surrounding deck and rear courtyard to take advantage of the natural light, sun and views from every window. A fully equipped kitchen with a big country style kitchen bench leading to an open living space with a wood stove is excellent at heating the entire house - if required. There is plenty of firewood available. There is one large bedroom with a curtained off walk- in dressing room behind the queen size bed and a study alcove with a desk and bookshelves. A fully renovated bathroom has a shower, toilet and handbasin. A passage way leads from the living area to the rear gravelled courtyard surrounded by bush.
The second dwelling called the Oystershed is below the main house at the end of the jetty. It is a rustic studio over the water. North facing barn doors open up to let in the sun with views across Lovett Bay and down Salvation Creek. This open plan living has a central queen size bed. There are a lots of places to sit and take in the view including a central couch or a table and chairs on the front deck. There are also 4 cane lounges on the sandstone terrace around a pit fire overlooking the water. The studio has a copper shower over a claw foot bath, toilet and an outside hot water shower on the rear deck. A rustic kitchenette with camp stove, bar fridge , sink and pots and pans plus a Weber BBQ on the rear deck will cover all basic cooking. There is also 2 kayaks, a row boat and fishing rods and gear.

My name is Jennifer and I live in The Pittwater, Northern Beaches in Sydney, Australia. I work in science communication and also love sailing. I have travelled with my work mainly to Europe and America but love to go anywhere. There is always something of interest to observe especially in the natural environment. I have settled in the beautiful Pittwater surrounded by clear blue waters and fringed by the Ku-ring-Gai National Park.
