My daughter met with Victoria to get all the information on the apartment. She said Victoria was great. Very friendly and helpful about everything.

We were very dissapointed with the feed back for Victoria,s place because this is why we booked with her. Firstly there were 40 steep narrow curved stairs which were never mentioned and for two ladies in their 60s it was extreemly difficult and dangerous. The place was very dirt…

Response from Victoria:
I am sorry to hear that you had such a bad stay. We really care that our guests enjoy their stay, if you had told of of the issues that you were having then we would fixed them. I visited you on the first night of your stay, after you had cooked your chicken dinner, and we were subsequently in frequent email contact to discuss other matters so it is very frustrating that you did not bring any problems to my attention. We do need our guests to tell us if something is wrong. It was quite a shock when I met you at the flat on the last day to be told that the bathroom tap had not been working. I found out at 2pm, called my emergency plumber to make the repair and it was fixed that afternoon at 3pm. The flat is a traditional tenement as it says in the description, and tenement flats are generally understood to be up a shared stairwell. The numerous pictures we post of the flat have previously been sufficient for guest to understand that it is not on the ground floor, we do try to make it obvious what the flat is and while we are always happy to help guests with their luggage would never advise the flat was suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. Perhaps if you had mentioned your disabilities we would have been able to advise you better. I can personally guarantee that the linen was fresh from the Laundrette, the kitchen, bathroom, work-surfaces, fridge were all cleaned and the floors were washed and carpets vacuumed. The flat is occupied at the minute, but we will examine and replace the items you noted as soon as possible. I wish you all the best for your next stay.

Good communication and efficient flexible check-in. Flat 15 mins walk to the main attractions. Parking around the flat a bit difficult to find but we left our car a little further down the road (10 mins walk) in a sidestreet where there were no parking restrictions so that work…

A great space in a great location. Cozy and just a quick bus ride to High Street, shops, and restaurants. The washer was a big plus for us road weary travellers. A great space for the price and not far from all that Edin has to offer!

A fantastic place to stay - Victoria is a superb host, the facilities are great and the view is a complete knockout. Convenient location, comfortable furniture and an esoteric book collection make this a great holiday hang-out.
