What a special experience. We stayed at the Quinta for four nights and were sorry to leave. The kids enjoyed feeding the horses, seeing cows, ducks, chickens, dogs and squeezing fresh orange juice. Close location to explore the area and Fatima made us feel very welcome. Thank you!

The apparent is clean and neat, decorated with care. But honestly, it is too secluded for us. The farm was really quiet, hardly any activity or contact with the hosts. The apartment is in the back, so you cannot see the nice views from the window. Did like the walk to the lake and the restaurant at the repsol nearby.

A lovely traditional farmhouse set in remote, quiet countryside. Fantastic walks in all directions and for easy excursions ideally situated- we caught the train from Casa Branca to Evora ( Its a 10 minute journey with beautiful views) Fatima and Claudino were incredibly warm, and helpful and make fantastic honey! Relaxing and peaceful evenings spent barbequing, watching geckos and stargazing on big skies. A totally unique experience and totally recommended!

Great location in the middle of the countryside. We enjoyed the water tank at sunset. Fatima and Claudino, who managed the farm, are great and very friendly people, ask claudino about his honey! We had some difficulties to get in touch with Maria at arrival, but we finally managed to get in touch with Claudino by asking for him at the oil station

This working farm is located in the middle of the Portuguese countryside, about 40 minutes from Evora and 45 from the beach near Comporta. It is a dream destination if you are looking for peace and quiet in a gorgeous setting where you can walk for miles in any direction. My three-year old daughter loved the chickens and ducks running around the yard, as well as seeing the honey making, horses and other animals. Fatima and her husband were very warm, and Fatima truly made us feel extremely welcome and well cared for, even bringing us fresh eggs and treating my daughter like one of the family. The food at the nearby Repsol gas station is local and fantastic - let the lady in charge give you her recommendations, and we also ate well in the nearby town, although one of the places was closed for the august holidays. A very special getaway where you sleep in total silence (except for the occasional barking dog) and wake up to the sound of roosters. Fantastic!!

We spent a week-end at the country cottage and it's been incredibly beautiful, relaxing and remote from the rest of the world. I particulartly enjoyed being away from the internet - there is hardly any phone connection - and to simply immerse into the plain nature. The walk to the lake, to the horses, the olive trees, cork oak treet and orange trees are all beautiful and the wildernes of the surrounding adds to the charm. The orange juice which you can press freshly is delicious and the kitchen is in general quite well equiped for a cottage. Just in one night the dogs were barking and a pair of ear plugs would have been useful. Apart from that it's very silent. We'll certainly come again.
