Hi. This is truly a magical, wonderful place. How fabulous is it to have a whole house and really feel at home when you come to a city like this? I have recently changed my criteria but I do have a one month minimum. For some people who are staying shorter but love my place and its location, they will rent for the month but leave earlier. Considering all factors, it really is worth it! Here's the description:
Adorable, Private, Furnished, 1 bedroom/1 bath Guesthouse. Designer-decorated and in a FABULOUS LOCATION! This charming Hollywood Bungalow has a private backyard, garden and shared pool on a Hollywood Estate with LOTS of history. Previously owned by Universal Studios who housed Steven Spielberg while he directed "Duel" for them. Also music legend, Bobby Darin wrote "Splish Splash" when he lived (and I'm assuming... took a bath) on the property. VERY CREATIVE environment with tons of personality! This colorful, fun, charming guesthouse is a freestanding single home... you neither share walls with anyone nor have anybody above or below you. The private bedroom has a queen-sized floatation bed (great for lumbar support.) Beautiful furnishings. INSPIRING setting. Upstairs behind a gate, it feels like you're up in the trees. Ideal for an extended vacation stay, especially if you're a writer or a creative artist or anyone who has business dealings at Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, NBC, CBS, Disney, etc.. Amenities include (amongst various assundries,) Maytag washer/dryer, new stove, refrigerator, private backyard featuring a beautiful private deck and sundeck, (setup like a romantic, al fresco restaurant,) plus there's a great pool in a common area on the Estate. One off-street carport parking space. Gardener and pool man included. (Well, at least their gardening and pool cleaning services.) Security system, cable TV in bedroom with DVR, highspeed internet and the list goes on and on. I'm all about making this a wonderful experience for you. Perfect for a creative, financially stable adult with great references. It's a special place and needs the right person who wants to live here for anywhere from 1 month to a year and truly enjoy the L.A. lifestyle. RESERVE IT NOW. SmalI pet (under 25 lbs.) okay. This is about working out a positive win-win situation for all.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Where the Hollywood Hills meet the Studio City Hills. Around the corner from the Metro Red Line and couldn't be closer to Universal Studios unless you took up occupancy in one of their air ducts. Tons of restaurants in walking distance from incredible vegetarian to In and Out Burger plus Mexican, Italian, French and Spanish... you definitely won't starve for anything here! This is a RARE FIND and won't last! You don't want to miss out on this whimsical, inspirational, health-restoring, home.
Book it now... before, (as they say in L.A.,) ...you lose the light.
Tenants agree to respect the neighbors on the property by keeping noise levels down especially in the common areas like up at the pool. No glassware in the pool area. No unattended additional guests of subletter or children in the pool area without adult supervision and no dogs/cats at the pool.
If anything breaks during your stay, call me immediately and I will have any problems fixed right away. This has not yet happened but I'm here for all my guests 24/7.
