We have a lovely glamping tent situated on our small farm. The farm includes free range peafowl, chickens and sheep.
The tent is complete with a double bed, frig, dresser, and love seat. A coffee station is set up in the "big" kitchen for your convenience. There is nearby access to swimming, and a shared full bath with on demand hot water and shower.

The space

The free range peacocks, peahens and chickens are fun to watch as they wander around the yard. Please know this is a farm and the farm animals are early risers. We do provide earplugs in the bedside table for those of you who are not! Our guests are also invited to make themselves a bit of breakfast with the dark yellow yoked eggs the hens provide! The colorful koi are lovely and can be fed by our guests.
We are just a short 15 minutes drive from Ithaca and nearby gorges and wineries!
We do welcome dogs, but have a few rules you need to know about before deciding to bring them with you.
#1- They must be on leash at all times when here on the farm.
#2-They are required to be, well behaved, kid friendly and other dog friendly.
#3-They may not be barking constantly day and night, and may not be left at the farm while you are sight seeing.
#4-Their lawn (yard) poops need to be immediately scooped up and disposed of by owners unless the dogs do their business in the nearby field which is provided for your convience!
#5-No dog swimming allowed in the lined ponds on the property.

Guest access

You will have full access to an outdoor summer kitchen for grilling and dining. If raining and weather doesn't allow for outdoor cooking there is a lovely indoor kitchen. You also have access to the beach and garden house for lounging and conversation under cover.

Interaction with guests

We are happy to help you with any information about interesting things to do around the Ithaca area. It's very important that you enjoy yourselves to the max!

Other things to note

Day driving distance to Ithaca's gorges, and wine trails. Ithaca has some of the finest dining in the world!

This place is amazing! We were looking for more of an experience rather than just a hotel room, this airbnb certainly delivered. The tent was set amongst stunning farm land overlooking a beautiful big pond, the host had provided us with fresh farm laid eggs to use for breakfast as well! Such a cool place!!

What can I say about Scottland Yard? I don't think I can even fully express (to the best of my ability) my love of this place, but I'll do my best..(URL HIDDEN) First things first the pictures don't do it any justice..The minute you walk up and into the property you're just blown away by the landscape. It's absolutely a magical space that is so tranquil and soothing to the soul that you'll almost feel a sadness that you can't experience this on a daily basis lol and that you'll have to leave at some point........ I immediately knew, just as I had read in other reviews, that I was filled with such regret not booking another night. The tent was something you would see on Pinterest! the bedding was beautiful and the decor was perfect. the attention to detail in every corner had us speechless. Andrea provided us with everything you would need, from outlets to charge your phones if need be to ear plugs in case you're sensitive to roosters crowing in the morning lol we also had a heated blanket that was handy for the chilly night .....The free range chickens were amazing and the peacocks were a gorgeous sight, they even provided fresh eggs for you to make in the morning as well as their delicious local coffee you can brew. One of my favorite features was the outside garden lounge area...Its as though you're transported to another place when you're sitting in there, with the Persian style rugs and gothic inspired lanterns hanging from the ceiling (and incense available to burn). It truly was such an amazing/relaxing experience. Andrea and her family are so warm and welcoming that they make you feel right at home, as if they're old friends.......and yet you have plenty of privacy and time to yourself to decompress and enjoy....This was my first Airbnb experience and I know my standards are set way too high now lol it's only downhill from here bc I'm convinced nothing can beat this. I booked this as an alternative to a bachelorette party for my best friend before she gets married and she was over the moon about it. We plan on making this a yearly trip and can't wait to visit again :0)

Andrea and her entire family were lovely hosts. Their farm was beautiful and relaxing, and the glamping tent was ideal. It was a perfect way to unplug from the world for a few days. We'll definitely be back!

We brought our puppy with us, and he had a blast. Free range chickens and peacocks wandering the yard, sheep and goats, koi pond. What's not to love?

We adored our weekend at Scotland Yard in the glamping tent! As other reviewers noted, Andrea tends to each and every detail in such thoughtful ways. The bed was super comfortable, with lovely cotton sheets and warm comforters, which was ideal since it got down to 41 degrees our first night there (p.s. I am a bedding snob). We enjoyed having the fire pit right by our tent, fresh local coffee in the main kitchen, and the artisan soap that Andrea gave us. Their property was close enough to go into Ithaca for dinner and/or to explore all of the hikes, wineries, and lakes, but far enough away that we felt truly unplugged. We were sad to leave after 3 days and look forward to our next trip. Thank you Andrea and Duane.
