Watch the sunset, swim, kayak or fish just metres from your door. Perfect for a romantic getaway or relaxed family time, the cabin has been thoughtfully designed for comfort, connection and slow days by the water with ever-changing birdlife and nature right on your doorstep.

The space
Located in the quiet coastal hamlet of Swanwick Bay on Tasmania’s stunning East Coast, Lobster Pot Cabin is a relaxed waterfront escape, perfect in every season.

In the warmer months, enjoy long afternoons on the deck and evenings around the fire pit. Fish from the local jetty just a short stroll away, or walk along the water’s edge to Sandpiper Beach. After a swim, rinse off under the outdoor shower and settle into the easy pace of coastal living.

The light-filled open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area captures all-day sun and water views. Fully self-contained and well equipped for short or longer stays, it’s an easy, comfortable place to unwind. Pick up fresh seafood from Freycinet Marine Farm just minutes away and cook in the spacious, newly renovated kitchen.

With two bedrooms, the cabin sleeps up to 4–5 guests. The master features a queen bed with bay views, while the second bedroom includes a bunk with a double and single — ideal for couples or small families.

Thoughtfully styled with vintage finds, collected pieces and locally sourced touches, the space is designed for relaxation.

Close to Freycinet National Park, Wineglass Bay and the Hazards of Coles Bay, it’s the perfect base to explore — or simply slow down and enjoy the view.
