Exposed brick, gut rehab of a classic St. Louis old brick 2 family flat built 1898.
Chouteau Park across the street & Central West End across the bridge. Walk to Forest Park where all the major museums are or to The Grove entertainment district.
Thanks for your interest in my new building, investing in STL. Here is update!
You will be in the second floor (door on the right), this guest bedroom is in the front of the building overlooking the park. Though the construction is done, details like: painting, window trim and applications, and closet shelving aren't yet in.
Cant predict the future state of the progress of the detailing, which will be slow since most of it I am doing myself in my spare time, which I have little of.
You get to have a private room in a 1500 square foot newly renovated apartment, located in high rent district. I provide a Full futon, a real roll out bed and/or twin aerobed and basics including WiFi/net as noted.
Note as my profile here shows, I have an additional listing for the living room sofabed also and it is often booked at the same time too.
The white wireless doorbell is the only working one, knock (door on right) or call. My office is directly above the doors. Make yourself at home: You can enter without notice to tenant and I or requirement of us being there, just follow the house manual and be mindful and keep the place locked at all times. Note this is an all hard wood floor building as pictured. The 2nd floor where I stay has a strict no shoe policy, but that doesn't mean no creaking in general for 100 year old hardly insulated floors. Noise is entirely random and cant be predicted, may be none, may be some, but should always be reasonable and minimal. If you have issue let me know immediately via a message.

Interaction with guests
is flexible I can work from home, but am sometimes at my office downtown between Noon and 4:30-6PM (depending on workload). I may be available to be a tour guide of the city depending on how long you are staying or pre-plans we can make or at least give many recommendations.
I play a folk harp and will gladly perform my music set for my guests.
I cook breakfast when I am home for all guests including 1st floor guests/tenants/special guests when applicable.
First floor pictures are so you can see the rehab progress. The second floor is where we stay.
Other things to note
Spacious backyard, nothing fancy, but quaint for entertaining.
There is ample unrestricted street parking opposite side (park side) of the street. The street gets somewhat crowded Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm, but shouldn't be an issue. You might not get to park directly in front. Please dont park on the building side out front, unless there is space enough in front of the actual building. Space in front of neighbors buildings is for the neighbors technically, I strive to respect their spaces.
FYI: Elsewhere in the city only pay parking meters on Monday through Saturday from 8am to 7pm (Sunday and Federal holidays are free).
note: Indoor Fireplace's arent functional anymore, they just look lovely and are original. Building has central forced heat and air conditioning.
Uber is in STL, only Uber black from airport, you can only get regular Uber if you tram away from the airport first.

note: for ages "0-12 friendly" does not mean my shelves are bolted to the walls nor my outlets are covered: watch your kids of course. I expect kids to be taught to be equally respectful as adults. I used to be a teacher for over a decade, I haven't ever had kids of my own though. I dont have baby things aside from kid shampoo and step stool; check the amenities list posted.
I would sell everything and move to the mountains if only I could live without plastic.
