One Church is a beautifully renovated miners cottage that has been thoughtfully styled throughout to highlight it’s heritage. The cottage is an extremely comfortable and unique stay in the heart of Derby.

Set back off Main Street, One Church is the perfect escape. Located only three hundred metres from the trail head and just up the hill from the pump track.

One Church can cater for up to 6 guests.

The space
The house contains 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen size beds and 1 with 2 king single beds. All beds have electric blankets, deluxe mattress toppers, cosy doonas and luxurious french linen.

The two front bedrooms have sweeping views down to the Pump Track, up to the bush, the infamous Trouty trail and beyond.

The house includes an open plan dining/kitchen area. The kitchen has been completely renovated and staples such as olive oil, salt, pepper, tea and coffee etc. are provided.

There is a separate living area which contains a feather couch, arm chairs and a wood fire.

The bathroom has been completely renovated and contains a shower, sink, toilet and under floor heating. There is also a renovated laundry with washer and dryer.

The house contains reverse cycle air-conditioning/heating units in both the living and dining area. The living area also has a wood fire, which ensures the space is very cosy! There is high speed internet, ultra high definition TV and Netflix.

We provide a secure storage area with racks for six bikes, power points for e-bike charging and a work station for bike maintenance.

One Church is situated behind the Derby Town Hall, 300m from the Trailhead and 180m to the Derby General Store. Behind the house is Crown land and bush.

PLEASE NOTE: One of the queen bedrooms is internally accessed via the king single bedroom. However, external access is available from the undercover front porch, if you would rather not go through the king single bedroom.

PLEASE NOTE: Whilst the wood fire in the living area has a guard it is not child proof. However, a heat pump is located in this room.
